saw this posted at the kikay website. i wonder if it works. i have had my eyelashes permed once and it turned out to be ok. it lasted for more than one month. after, i bought the watson's heated eyelash curler. it was not that effective though. the permed eyelashes looked way better. i wonder if this lashwand would provide me with the same results. guy's are really lucky, because they don't even bother having to worry about thing's like curled eyelashes. hay!

wicked

my friend ayette was having major problems on how to get Wicked tickets. she with her husband and kids are spending christmas in LA and her kids were bugging her into watching wicked. she's stressed already with the boards plus her kids were also stressing her into watching the play. i immediately told her of just getting her tickets online and have it sent to her best friends house in LA. problem solved!

adult diapers

when my wowo got sick, my aunt in the states would send my wowo's medical supplies which included adult diapers. i remember balikbayan boxes from the states filled with diapers. when i had my clinical rotation at a geriatric unit, diapers were heaven sent! it really made our work so much easier. at least we just needed to make sure our patients are wearing their diapers and pray that they don't do anything other than peeing and we would have a worry free day. thank God for diapers!

boracay day 3

we didn't really do much on our third day in boracay. we had breakfast, we went shopping for pasalubong, went back to the hotel and then left the island at 1 in the afternoon.

check-out of the hotel was at 11am but they gave us late check-out until 1pm. our flight back to manila was at 4pm but we decided to just have our lunch at a restaurant near the airport. good thing we decided on doing so because we found a shop near the airport that was selling piyaya. not just you ordinary piyaya but a flavored one. pineapple, mango and strawberry. sarap!

mortgage life insurance

i was chatting with my cousin earlier and she mentioned that she recently bought a mortgage life insurance. it was the first time i heard of such so i had to ask her to tell me about it. she bought a condominium unit which is set to be completed in 2009. she is still paying for the said property and will pay for it for the next 15 years. the mortgage life insurance is to pay off her home mortgage if she was to die unexpectedly. i was at first shocked but later on realized she did the right thing. she says that just in case anything happens to her she would at least be assured no one gets burdened by her home mortgage. i never realized such insurances are already being offered. weird but it does make sense.

vacation home

my high school friend who works as a nurse in the US has recently bought a property. she didn't just buy a house, she bought a vacation home Orlando property. she has been working for 3 years now, all hard work! she has finally seen the fruits of her labor. she said that it's not really a good time to buy a property in the states but she still decided on buying one since she was given a really good deal. i wonder on when i could buy my own house?

mailing lists

i used to work in the field of marketing. we get a big bulk of our clients through our Mailing List. we send out mails once a month and we just need to wait about a week then we start receiving calls and queries already. it has been a very effective marketing tool for us and the response we get is really overwhelming. next to word of mouth, this is the next best thing. the cost is not that high but the return is really good. it saves us time too since we get to cover a lot of prospects in a very short time.

marimar...aww!

i miss marimar. hahaha! my sister who recently went back to the states sent an email to provide her with update as to what happened to marimar. sad to say, i have only watched one episode since you left. that episode was the where marimar and sergio got back together and then broke up again after a few minutes. bad trip! teehee.

Nov 22, 2007

i have 8 opps to do. i have not visited my friends blog. i have emails to reply too. i need to make a trip to the salon for a pedicure. i have to make sure my uniform still fits. i have pictures from my cousin to download and upload to multiply. i have so many things i want and need to do but at the same time im sooo tired already and i will need to call it a day. i will do my opps tomorrow ( i promise to finish them all because opps means money). i can't wait for the board exams to finish. i need my life back!

gold!

i can't believe the bank interest rates for savings account. super low. no wonder people starting to look for other investments that will yield a higher interest or earning.

a classmate of mine who opted for early retirement from their company to be able to concentrate with nursing school invested his retirement money into something different. i first actually thought she was joking when she told me that she bought some gold bullions. she got the idea from her chinese sister-in-law. honestly, i think it is a really cool investment. gold, many say is the best form of money and is one of the best ways to preserve one’s wealth and purchasing power. Gold bullion is a indeed unique investment. not only unique but come to think of it a really good one too.

second home

i have recently found a second home...starbucks.

i got so tired of studying at home. i get tempted to watch tv, sleep, or go online. since sunday, i have been going to starbucks ( walking distance from my house) and stay there and i actually get to study. i buy myself coffee and that would be good na for 6 to 7 hours. teehee. i have found my own quiet space at starbucks banawe already. i only have 9 more days after today till the boards (shocks, 9 na lang!).

Nov 18, 2007

do some early shopping for your christmas wardrobe!

my cousin just came back from a trip with lots of goodies for sale. visit the raketera's website. click here.
i only have one more weekend left before the board exams. im doomed. im dead.

it's panic mode time. craming time ( to be honest, i am more effective pag cramming!)

it's just so weird. back in august, it felt like i had a lot of time to study pa but now that's it's only TWO freaking weeks before the exam...i feel like, i want to just get sick and not take the exam. teehee.

credit card

i first had a credit card when i started working. it was tough. credit cards spelled temptation. especially during the first month that i had my first credit card, i went shopping. shopping for things i later realized i didn't even need. after getting my first bill though, i so wanted to cut my credit card in half. i later on learned to control myself and use my credit card wisely.
banks are now offering Credit Cards For College Students. my aunt who is at LA actually got one for my cousin who is studying in san francisco. since my cousin is leaving alone and is far from the family, my aunt got him the credit card for emergency purposes. you'll never know when you'll need one.

forever young S4E8

from grey's anatomy:
Meredith:
"There comes a point in your life when you're officially an adult. Suddenly, you're old enough to vote, drink, and engage in other adult activities. Suddenly, people expect you to be repsonsible, serious... a grown up. We get taller, we get older. But do we ever really grow up?
In some ways we grow up. We have families, we get married, divorced, but for the most part, we still have the same problems that we did when we were fifteen. No matter how much we grow taller, grow older, we are still forever stumbling, forever wondering, forever young."

checking account

i have had a checking account for some time now. i use it to pay my bills. from the phone bill, internet bill, cable and insurance. it's safer than having to pay in cash because even if i ask the messenger or the maid to pay for the bills, i don't need to worry that they get tempted of getting the money or that they get robbed. what's more convenient with the checking account is that it comes with a debit card so if i need cash i can withdraw from the ATM at anytime or i could use the debit card for online shopping. i love banking convenience.

vacation, please!

i know that i just got back from boracay but with all the stress i am currently experiencing i have been dreaming already of going to another vacation. this time though, i want to go out of the country. i have recently been visiting the website of Riviera Maya Resort. love it. love it. they have a natural park which are their most popular attraction. they also offer other activities such as snorkeling, underground rivers, and swimming with dolphins. It offers a laid-back atmosphere with bars, restaurants and nightlife. PLUS, it is a shopper's paradise where you will find an endless selection of art, jewelry, Mexican crafts, souvenirs, as well as designer clothing. i wish i win the lottery and for sure i will immediately head off to this resort.

i promise to blog hop tomorrow and to finish my paid opps. my mind is not working. i better get some sleep first with the hope of finishing my online tasks by tomorrow. i have allocated an hour of internet time for me from tomorrow till the 1st of december. goodnight for now....

flowers

december are filled with weddings. 2 friends are getting married by december. unfortunately, i won't be able to go to one of them since the wedding is in the states. lisa is on the last leg of planning her wedding. i heard that having a wedding in the states is really expensive that is why she is doing everything she could to save. she got wholesale flowers that her sister will arrange for the wedding day. she says it's much cheaper than getting a florist for the wedding. at least she could spend more on food and drinks.

wedding gift shopping

a relative from australia is set to get married before the end of the month here in manila. since they live abroad, they have requested their guests to get them Wedding Gifts online. i think this idea is really great! at least the guests knows already what they would really need and they wouldn't even have to worry of how they will be bringing their gifts back to manila. the website also donates to charity for every gift that is purchased from the website. so that is like hitting two birds with one stone. and since online shopping is therapy for me, i have been tasked by my mom to select their gift. woohoo.
bryan is love and fat.
the last time i saw bryan was 7 months ago. i saw him again last saturday and bryan is no longer a baby. aside from being a baby no more, he was so fat! teehee. super sarap kurutin. i kept on hugging him and then my uncle will tell me not to hug bryan bec he is "baho" and then bryan would say " ligo ako ha!". cutie. he is already studying and knows a chinese song.

dead tired

i have been busy since saturday. my sister is to go back to the states by thursday morning so we are trying to make the most of the days she is to spend here in manila. we went to the mall saturday morning and then met up with the cousins saturday evening for a night out. we first went to cena and then the idea of videoke came up so we went to music 21 in jupiter. after which, no one wanted to go home yet so we went to starbucks greenbelt. went home around 2am already but it was all fun!

group picture

sunday was spent at the mall again. i wanted to buy a new pair of havaianas but walang size. went to crocs (mary jane's) and was thinking of getting a pair but it felt so big naman. not meant to be.

i was planning to do some studying monday but a dinner was planned with family friends so i had to help with the preparations. we again went to the mall to buy some groceries. it rained during the dinner but super enjoy pa din since we have not seen them for a very long time. reunion talaga! some of the guests left early since the kids had school but a few stayed and chikahan till 3AM.

we already planned on going to 168 tuesday morning so even if we lack sleep, we woke up early since we wanted to go to 168 early. buti naman kasi konti pa lang tao when we got there and we got to enjoy 168. after 168 we (me and my two sisters) went to greenhills. after greenhills, parang di pa kami napagod we went to SM north edsa. my sister had to buy polvoron. i also finally had my ears pierced! i have an ear piercing na but i had another one added. super sakit ha! they told me it was not painful, but it was. super love my piercing, will take a pic soon.

tomorrow another dinner is scheduled at dampa. hopefully, i get to study in the morning till afternoon. i promise to lock myself in a room after my sister leaves. i need to study badly!

finally a bar!

my cousin had their house in tagaytay renovated. part of the renovation is having a bar. we love drinking sprees. well we have not done this lately but at any chance we get we always spend night outs drinking. we went to their house already and the bar is beautiful. he got a really good deal with the bar stools which compliments the whole look of the room. we are all planning to head to tagaytay on the first weekend of december. that is something to look forward too.
one of my goals since 2004 is to drive. 2008 is now nearing and i still have not practiced driving! i have a non-professional driver's license as i started driving when i was in college but i never really got interested in driving. i have tried countless of times but until now i still don't drive. i am close to giving up on this goal of mine but i know that sooner or later i need to drive. it sucks when i leave the house and a car is parked on the garage but i will have to take public transportation since i have not practiced driving for a very long time. i hate parking! i really love the idea of being the passenger. imagine not having to worry about drinking during night out since i am not a designated driver. my mom has been bugging me to practice but i have been so lazy.

i have not really given time on driving, maybe next year i will. or maybe not. maybe when they buy me a car. but that might not happen. maybe when i go to the states or canada to work. maybe. maybe. maybe.

i am a smorty

i have been doing blog advertising for a little over 6 months now and so far this is one of the jobs i have had that i love the most. having the chance to advertise on blogs has allowed me to learn more about the products and services that are available online and at the same time allowed me to earn extra income at the comforts of my home. with the blogging money i have earned, i get to do online shopping which i also love. and since i am currently not working, the money i earn from blogging i get to use for my everyday expenses. no more asking for allowance, woohoo. i hope to continue doing this for a long time. i have not only earned in terms of monetary but i have also met a lot of people online. i really enjoy reading their blogs. you get to learn a lot from them as well. the opportunities online are really endless. thanks, to smorty i don't only get paid to blog i also get paid to meet friends.

boracay day 2

i planned on waking up early to catch the boracay sunrise. of course in my 3 days of stay in boracay, i was not able to do so. teehee.
to be honest, i do not have anymore kwento's to share since most of the time spent in boracay was by the beach, eating, watching live streaming of pbb at the hotel room (hahaha!) and sleeping. funny that i brought a book to read but i was not able to read it. i finished reading the 2 magazines that my sister brought though (goodluck na lang sa akin!).

i saw this kid around 5 in the afternoon...super natawa talaga ako!

and a stay at boracay will not be complete without this...

more boracay day 2 pictures posted here.

honda cars

when the idea of buying a new car, my dad and sister immediately went to honda cars in search of the perfect car. the red corolla that my sister was using was to be sold and in replacement a new car was to be bought. of course my sister was super excited. who wouldn't be? they immediately got honda car quotes and then compared it to the price that other dealers and car manufacturers were giving them. for the honda city that my sister wanted and comparing it to models of almost the same kind with other manufacturer's the honda car price was the most reasonable that they got. this is the first time we got a honda for a car and so far so good. maybe we should sell the van and get a crv soon, too.

i hate washing dishes no more

one of the household chores aside from ironing clothes that i really don't fancy is washing dishes. i could do laundry, clean the house, wash the car but not washing dishes. no reason behind it really, i just don't like it. every time the househelp goes on a vacation, that is a major problem for me. who would wash my dishes? teehee. thank God though for Whirlpool Dishwashers. all i really need to do now is load it and im done. it also has its heated frying that allows you to put the dishes away as soon as the cycle is completed. bliss!

boracay day 1

boracay is love. i don't think i will ever get tired of going to boracay. our flight was at 6:30 am, meaning i was up as early as 4am and was at the airport before 6am. checking-in was a breeze. the plane is a 30 seater plane but on our way to bora, 10 passengers lang kmi. they told us we were to board at 6:15, and we did. flight was on time. they all had to seat us at the back of the plane, which was ok naman. the plane trip was good and fast. we were at caticlan by 7am and was at boracay island before 8 in the morning.

from caticlan to boracay island

we stayed at la carmella de boracay. even though check-in was at 2PM they already gave us our rooms (yehey!). hotel was ok. after we settled in our rooms, we immediately went around. we went to the house first of my sister's friend. tapos we headed over to jona's for our fruit shake fix and breakfast. yum-o! a boracay visit would never be complete talaga without jona's! we went to a store after to buy bottled water and then headed back to the hotel. my dad, mom and my ate peach were sleepy so they spent the afternoon sleeping. i went to the beach with my other sister to enjoy the sun. i didn't go to boracay to sleep!

we missed on having lunch that is why we had a really early dinner at 5pm and then went around again. went back to the hotel and went out for some drinks at juice at around 8pm till midnight. more day one boracay pictures here.
im back!

i super missed the internet and blogging. i could have used the free wifi in the hotel but i opted not too. we got back tuesday but i have been pretty busy with other things since coming back from the short but super sulit vacation in boracay. will be posting pictures and kwento soon.

but for now...after 2 years and a half ( i stopped for one semester). G-R-A-D-U-A-T-E na ako! woohoo. i actually finished in april but we missed on attending the ceremony. ok na din that we missed it because most of my friends only graduated october also. but since i only attended the ceremony today, ngayon ko lang na feel that i really graduated already.

Nov 3, 2007

off to boracay

see you guys on tuesday evening with lotsa kwento and lotsa pictures!

further studies

now that i have finished my nursing degree, i have been thinking if i should finish my masteral studies. one of the universities i found online offering graduate online degrees is capella university. they offer 104 graduate and undergraduate specialization so i have the option of finishing my masters in business administration or maybe take a masteral degree in public health. that could give me the option of teaching in the future. i really love the idea of having to just study online basically because of flexibility. i am to receive my university guide within the next two weeks. at least this would give me more options in the coming months and would hopefully help me decide on what i really want to do next.
to prepare for my trip, i went to lay-bare waxing salon in quezon city. i have had waxing before and most often than not i leave the salon not happy. mas happy pa ako with using veet. but since i read really good reviews for lay-bare, i tried it. they use cold wax and i really didn't find it painful. in the end i am happy with the service i got since the place is really clean and the girls are really nice and friendly. finally, i have found a waxing salon i really like.
been so busy the past few days. busy with review, trying to complete requirements for the boards, trying to make some opps for extra money, meeting up with relatives and friends. i honestly have not done much studying but i promise to make up when i get back from a short vacation. i really need the vacation and im super glad im having one.

accidents

my friend called me overseas last night as he was so scared. he got into a car accident as another car was over speeding. he has mentioned that in north carolina, knowing on who is legally responsible for the accident is really difficult. my friend is so lucky not only as he is not harmed from the accident but especially because he got the help of Raleigh accident lawyers. it will take time for him to get over the accident. it will take weeks before he gets his car again. but we are all glad he is okay and will get the help that he needs.

to curl or not to curl

i had my long delayed graduation picture taken last weekend. we should have had the picture taken last april but for some reason we missed it. i had my hair curled and i loved it. i still don't have proof's of the pictures but we (me and my friends) went to a studio near the school to have our group picture taken. the pictures are not clear though because i don't have my scanner here sa house. what i did was i took a picture of my picture. labo!

so, what do you guy's think? should i have it curled or stick with the straight hair?

a spooktacular event!

we had a halloween party last saturday (10.27.2007). it was super fun! unknown to family and friends, my ate came home from the US. she was suppose to go home for christmas but since she was not allowed to take her vacation come december, she decided to come home october instead. everyone came in costumes! it was a super successful party.

moleskine

no starbucks planner for me next year. i will be using a moleskine planner for a change. i saw the planner at fully booked and immediately fell in love with it. the one i originally wanted was out of stock when i bought mine online, so i just bought the twin set. i can't wait for january 2008 to start.

i am rich! woohoo. i heart opps. i have money to spend in boracay. best of all, i have money for christmas shopping. love it. love it.

before you guys panic, the money im holding is in $20 denomination but is converted to Php2*,***. it would have been more but i have spent some of the money i earned buying things online and a few more $$$ are left in the paypal account. happy.happy.happy!

Oct 24, 2007

who watches marimar? i do! hahaha. when it first started, i didn't really watch it but i started watching about three weeks ago. when it's marimar being shown on tv, i stop studying and just watch tv. addict! super funny also the scenes with fulgoso (marimar's dog). i really hope though that they stick to the original story line. yes, i also watched marimar before sa channel 9 staring thalia. hahaha!

moving out!

my cousins are moving to a new house. they are actually moving from california to colorado. they have acquired a lot of things already and have decide to just bring most of their stuff with them instead of buying new furnitures for the colorado house. i could only imagine how tedious the move is going to be. not only tedious but stressful also. they have gotten the services of International Movers to help them move to their new home. they are getting the same company they got when they moved from florida to california a few years back, so they are pretty much confident everything will proceed without major problems.
a tag/question from kathy....

Are you a morning or a night person?

hmmm, let me think. their are times i could a lot of stuff in the morning. but their are also times i feel so sleepy in the morning and get things done by night. maybe it depends on the paid opps coming in! teehee. lately, i sleep late and wake up really early also. so i would say both.

boohoo! the havaianas sale in boracay ends the day before i go there. major bad trip. i so want to get a exclusive boracay style but unfortunately, i won't be able to get one. not unless i find someone who goes there or i could as my sister's friend to buy me a pair. maybe i should do that.

Oct 23, 2007

no costume....

again, a problem for me. we have a halloween party on the 27th of october and i still have no costume. i have found so many cute costume's for kids, but i have not found anything for me. i have thought of this party but im the one without costume yet. i only have 3 more days left to come up with a costume. any ideas?

love for trucks

my cousin has asked me to help him look for truck bed liner for his truck since he does not have an internet connection. i have seen a lot of good ones online at a really good price. i really don't know anything about trucks, as in nada, zilch. but i had to do this for my cousin and so i did. surprisingly, i had fun. i enjoyed going over the truck accessories available online. when he came over this evening i showed him everything i saw and the choices available. good thing it was not me buying the truck accessories because i really would not know what to get.

heart of the matter...season 4 episode 4

meridith grey:
In life only one thing is certain, apart from death and taxes: No matter how hard you try, no matter how good your intentions, you are going to make mistake. You are going to hurt people. You are going to get hurt. And if you ever want to recover, theres really only one thing you can say...Forgive and forget. That's what they say. It's good advice, but it's not very practical. When someone hurts us, we want to hurt them back. When someone wrongs us, we want to be right. Without forgiveness old scores never settle. Old wounds never heal, and the most we can hope for is that someday we'll be lucky enough to forget.

let the truth sting...season 4 episode 3

meridith grey:

Doctors give patients a number of things. We give them medicine, we give them advice and, most of the time, we give them our undivided attention. But, by far, the hardest thing you can give a patient is the truth. The truth is hard. The truth is awkward and very often the truth hurts. I mean, people think they want the truth. But do they really?

The truth is painful. Deep down nobody wants to hear it, especially when it hits close to home. Sometimes we tell the truth because the truth is all we have to give. Sometimes we tell the truth because we need to say it outloud to hear it for ourselves. And sometimes we tell the truth because we just can't help ourselves. Sometimes, we tell them because we owe them at least that much.

i so can relate!

my friend refers to casino as "stress out". he actually goes to the casino at least once a week. he says he feels refreshed after a hard week at work. i recently told him about playing online casino. and for the past weeks he has skipped going to the casino and has been playing casino online every night. he's so happy since he has a lot of choices online as well in terms of what to play. he plays everyday for an hour and hardly losses. he says he sets a limit in terms of the amount of money he will spend but most often than not he really ends an night by winning. he has promised to treat us out for dinner soon with the earnings he made playing online casino. not only has he saved a lot due to his winnings but at the same time he has saved a lot of money since he does not spend for gas and food anymore.

when you don't feel happy, shop!

i have a confession to make. i shopped online again. amidst the ranting that i have to save, shopping cheers up a person when sad. so, shop i did. my sister has told me to visit the tobi site and the site is really a shopping haven. i have long wanted to buy jeans. lots of choices online, if i only had more money i could have gotten 3 or 4 pairs. but im not rich and im trying to save for another out of town trip in december. im very particular with my jeans. i had two brand choices for this shopping, seven for all mankind and nudie jeans. it was so hard to choose! it was like taking a medical-surgical exam (exaggeration!) or much difficult than that. i ended up buying from nudie. i have a sevens jeans already, that i dearly love because it's really nice and super expensive (the most expensive that i have!). that's why i ended up on buying the nudie pair to try it out. i have read good reviews about it so might as well try. if things don't go well between the brand and me, at least i know better the next time i go shopping. i promise to get the other pair by christmas time as my christmas gift to myself. shopping is love that i actually feel a bit better now.
im tired soooo tired. too many things going on. i wish the trip to boracay was to happen tomorrow, at least i'll get my mind off things. i really need to focus now on important things like reviewing. but i can't. i pray we get to finish all the required documents for the boards this week. october has never been a good month for me. a few good things are happening and will still happen in the next few days but sometimes i feel that the not so good things out weigh the good things. i wish for october to end.

ho!ho!ho!
some new items at my store. visit me and do some early christmas shopping! :D

i need money, asap!

hahaha, i actually don't. but if someone gives me money now, why not!

i had my share of money issues (who has not!?!). i one time had to pay for my tuition fee for masteral school and i didn't have ready cash available. i actually did not have any intentions of enrolling but at that time since i was in the banking-business industry, getting masteral studies was the next best thing ( later on i realized, it was nursing school i really wanted). i took the entrance exams, got interviewed by the dean and was welcomed to the DLSU-GSB community. enrollment came and i didn't have money to pay for tuition. that was how unprepared i was. lucky me, i had options. either i get a cash advance or apply for a payday loans. i took advantage of the pay day loans since i wanted to make sure whatever i borrow was within my means. the money i needed was immediately deposited into my checking account and the next thing i knew i was reporting for an organizational behavior class already. that was how easy the process was. unlike getting the loan from elsewhere where the approval will take so long. the approval of my loan was within 24 hours and the money was transferred overnight. talk about convenience! this types of loan facilities is something that you could really use for emergencies and shopping (that is an emergency!).
i have not been able to do some serious studying the past week. to be honest im so concerned that i seem to be slacking off with 39 days before the exam. how do you guys study? my waking up early (3-4am) worked for a few weeks but now, it's not working anymore. i get super sleepy after an hour of reading even if i try to sleep early. i know i should not go online anymore, but sayang the paid opps! teehee. i could use the extra money for christmas. i think too many things on my mind the past few days that's why finishing some reading has been impossible. i used to study sa coffeeshop, i have not tried it recently but will do after i come back from bora. maynilad is doing some work outside (our street) and i am estimating that come november, they'll be right in front of our house already. that would mean too noisy to study. and time to go to starbucks or seattle's or cafe mocha or coffee bean. i have to get back my groove. any suggestions on what i should do?

hospital facilities

having been exposed to public hospitals, i know and was exposed to the needs of our hospitals in terms of facilities, health care workers and medicines. lucky are those hospitals that get donations from other countries. my uncle who works for a hospital in the states would usually donate hospital beds and healthcare cart to a hospital in bacolod. when you visit the hospital, the carts they use are all imported and really nice. one could only wish that this need of our country, which i think is really immediate be addressed by the government.

co-clean

colon or more popularly known as the large intestine plays a big part in digestion. it is mainly responsible for storing waste, reclaiming water, maintaining the water balance, and absorbing some vitamins, such as vitamin K. that is why taking supplement for colon cleanse is very important. Co-clean is a cleansing and detoxification supplement that cleanses the body of harmful toxins and other wastes. life is short so might as well make sure you are living a healthy one.

josh grobam with lani misalucha

too bad i don't have the money to watch the josh groban concert ( i always don't have money! have to find work after the boards). ticket prices was really expensive. i was just talking with tita nora, who was lucky enough to get a free ticket for the concert and she was telling me about the josh-lani duet of the prayer. i just had to check you tube if a video was available. when i saw this video, galing talaga! goosebumps while watching.

lani makes you so proud to be a filipino because she is really so good. i think better than regine velasquez.

this is actually my second award from kathy but i unfortunately missed on posting the first one she gave me. thanks for this one sis!

and now, it's time for me to pass it to....jane, peachy, len, and jody
******

take extra precaution to those who are planning to go to the malls this weekend (sale sa galleria and megamall!). with the bombing that happened in ayala, who knows where it will happen next. good thing i have to review and i don't have the budget to go shopping this weekend.

Oct 18, 2007

i know it's not the perfect time for me to go on a vacation. i have more than a month left before the boards but i can't resist it. for one, it's a free trip and who would say no if it's a trip to BORACAY.

the ticket's arrived today. we will be leaving on the 4th of november. it's just a 3 days 2 nights trip and i will just have to make up in terms of studying when we get back. boracay...here i come! im so excited and i just can't hide it. teehee!

vegas!

i want to go to las vegas. well, my cousins promised that they will bring me to vegas when i go to the states. i remember my parents going to vegas a few years back and they stayed at Golden Nugget Las Vegas. from their pictures alone, the hotel was really beautiful! during their stay, my dad thought he won a car as he was playing with the slot machine. he did win, not the car though.

trick or treat?

a halloween party is brewing...

love for horses

belinda and i have once talked about going on an equestrian vacation not alone for our love for horses but also because we wanted an equestrian riding apparel. from riding breeches to riding boots, to riding helmets, and horse show clothes. we loved a mikee cojuangco movie wherein she was in an equestrian riding apparel. i remember that one time we went to tagaytay wishing we were wearing a riding apparel instead of our shirt and maong jeans, haha!

skin care

i don't have a daily skin regimen. im just used to washing my face with soap and water but i have to admit that a time comes wherein one should be extra careful and take care of the skin. maybe, just maybe that time has already come for me. since i lack sleep and due to stress my skin is breaking out. considering that it's not even the time of the month to have pimples (i usually have one or two a few days before my cycle)! i currently bought skin care product skinceuticals online as it comes highly recommended by the dermatologist for basic skin care. let's see it this works.
let me just say this.

it's disappointing and totally pisses me when someone says something but does a different thing or does exactly the opposite of what he said.

says he wants coke, but is drinking pepsi.
says he wants white, yet goes for brown.
says he wants to be with the cat but gets caught again and again walking the bitch..opps, dog.

just proves to show that action speaks louder that words. enough said!

wonderful journey

We were strangers, starting out on a journey
Never dreaming, what we'd have to go through
Now here we are and I'm suddenly standing
At the beginning with you

No one told me I was going to find you
Unexpected, what you did to my heart
When I lost hope, you were there to remind me
This is the start

Chorus
And life is a road that I want to keep going
Love is a river, I want to keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey
I'll be there when the world stops turning
I'll be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you

We were strangers, on a crazy adventure
Never dreaming, how our dreams would come true
Now here we stand, unafraid of the future
At the beginning with you

Back to Chorus

Bridge:
Knew there was somebody, somewhere
A new love in the dark
Now I know my dream will live on
I've been waiting so long
Nothing is going to tear us apart

Chorus

In the end I want to be standing
At the beginning with you...
thanks jody and kathy for the halloween treat.

now let me share the treat to...tami,pepe, nice, KC, and emmyrose. enjoy the treat!

he was walking her home

Looking back
He sees it all
It was her first date the night he came to call

Her dad said son
Have her home on time
And promise me you?ll never leave her side
He took her to a show in town
And he was ten feet off the ground

(Chorus)
He was walking her home
And holding her hand
Oh the way she smiled it stole the breath right out of him
Down that old road
With the stars up above
He remembers where he was the night he fell in love
He was walking her home

Ten more years and a waiting room
At half past one
And the doctor said come in and meet your son

His knees went weak
When he saw his wife
She was smiling as she said he?s got your eyes

And as she slept he held her tight
His mind went back to that first night

(Chorus)
He was walking her home
And holding her hand
Oh the way she smiled it stole the breath right out of him
Down that old road
With the stars up above
He remembers where he was the night he fell in love
He was walking her home

He walked her through the best days of her life
Sixty years together and he never left her side

A nursing home
At eighty-five
And the doctor said it could be her last night
And the nurse said Oh
Should we tell him now
Or should he wait until the morning to find out

But when they checked her room that night
He was laying by her side

Oh he was walking her home
And holding her hand
Oh the way she smiled when he said this is not the end
And just for a while they were eighteen
And she was still more beautiful to him than anything
He was walking her home
He was walking her home

Looking back
He sees it all
It was her first date the night he came to call

seriously...mc dream on!

i wish my ate could get me this....

and this....

i super love all the items but they are super expensive also. im still thinking if i should get them because apart from the cost of the shirts, the shipping is also to be considered. but the shirts are really nice. i don't know what to do anymore. i want to buy but a tiny part of me says don't buy.

mimi's new baby

mimi has been in the states for years and i have not seen her for so long. i remember during the time she was in college, we would usually stay up late just talking about anything and everything. she would often tell me that how she wished she could buy a car. she wanted to buy a car out of her own earnings and just recently that dream came true as she was able to buy a new car, woohoo! she bought herself a black 2007 dodge charger. but after saving up to buy the car, she is again now trying to save up to get some dodge charger accessory for her new baby. i want one too!

PMS

i get PMS every month. at least a day before my menstruation, i already drink medicine. i drink on the day before my cycle and another dose on the first day of my cycle. i have recently discovered a really good medicine to give me PMS relief. thank God for medicine's like this or else i would not be able to go about my daily activities due to PMS. what's so good about this NMS medicine, it does not only provide PMS relief but it also helps with any pain.

abc addict

one of the new shoes from abc is pushing daisies. love it! i downloaded the pilot episode already and i really enjoyed watching it. will have to download the other episodes this week, but watching the other episodes will have to wait till december. private practice which is a spin off of grey's anatomy is also nice. another series that caught my attention is who is samantha?. i will try to download pilot episode on tuesaday as the show is yet to premiere tom in the states.

if you are a tv junkie like me, start downloading na. caution: very addicting nga lang.

not just another party

tita grace is turning 50 and we are having a party. my cousins have already decided on a date and venue for the party and since it will happen a week before Christmas, invitations are to be sent out early to make sure that guests could reserve the day already for the special occasion since by that time christmas parties would be in full swing already. i have already ordered the invitations online and would be hand carried to manila by a friend who is coming home next month.

pacquiao or barrera

everyone is excited for sunday because of the fight between pacquiao and barrera. being a boxing enthusiast, i am excited too. sadly, i won't be able to watch (except maybe for the replay) as i have to go to manila with peewee for free blood sugar testing for unilab.
everyone has been talking about who is to win, if it will be a knock out or a technical knock out or will they last all 12 rounds and the list just goes on. the people at the gym have already registered through an online betting station to place their bets for the fight. they prefer the online site as it will assure them of a secure online environment and all their needs are met. they have actually been using Bet 365 for some time now, not only for boxing but for online poker. ruben has already assured me that he will treat me to one free boxing session if he gets to win. so im keeping my fingers crossed.
friday is a happy day.

firday is reward day.

that is because friday is grey's anatomy day (for me), woohoo!!

i heart torrent. it's so good to be able to just download the episodes and not wait for the dvd from my suking dvd store. as for my other favorites which are heroes and house, i have decided to just borrow from what my cousin is downloading and just watch it after the boards. december is rewards month! :D

Oct 3, 2007

im a havies girl. i wear them to the malls, church, review...everywhere! i hardly wear shoes. my feet does not like shoes either since im so used to wearing flip flops, i usually end up with blisters if i wear shoes.

i am thinking if i should but a new pair of havaianas (for my collection) or try out the mary jane crocs. everyone in my family has a pair of crocs, except me. my mom recently bought a pair of crocs and she is loving it.

help!

cabin rental

i want to go on a vacation! if i could only go on one right now, i would. i'm right now at the middle of reviewing and i so want to go on a vacation because im so tired studying. i don't think i have studied this much my entire life! teehee. so take my mind off "nursing stuff" i just browsed through pigeon forge cabin rental in tennessee. how i would love to go there to enjoy the place and watch dvd series till i drop. i can't wait for december 3!

botox for migraine

one of my closest friends has been suffering from chronic headaches aka migranes for years. she is totally useless when she has migraine attack. she has tried all the medicines she could and has consulted doctors but nothing has really worked for her just yet. when i read about botox for migraines i immediately sent her the link. i read that botox relieves migraines as it relaxes tight muscles according to some study done. i guess this would still undergo more study. but if it does relieve migraines, it will surely help a lot of people.
