Growing Family

And soon we will be three.

In less than a month, we will finally see "tornado". Long wait is over. I am blessed I didn't have a hard time during my pregnancy. The nine months flew by so fast. T and I have talked about having a need to start saving up for "tornado". We thought of saving money for now and then eventually investing it and the best investment is to buy gold bars. The value of gold has increased by so much in the past few months. It is indeed the best investment one could get into right now.

I'm praying everything goes well in the coming weeks and that I don't have a hard time with the labor and delivery. I'm praying my little tornado is a healthy baby. Can't wait! Can't wait!

Ikea Addict

It's been a trip to Ikea for me and T for the past 3 weeks. I personally love Ikea. So many things to see and so many ideas to get. We have pretty much decided on getting a few stuff from there. Although trips to Ikea are fun I must say it's very tiring too. Just too much walking :D
Looking for items for our kitchen is like looking to buy gold bullion. Cabinets are very expensive and since we are looking at wood cabinets we don't really have much of a choice but to increase our budget. The laminate cabinets look really good too but since we are more for items that will last longer we had to scrap that off our list. It's weekend again in the next 2 days and I have this feeling that a trip to Ikea is again on the list of must do.

Gold

gold, always believe in your soul.
you've got the power to know.
you're indestructable, always believe in

I've been singing that song for the past hour while look at where I could buy gold coins online. We are not yet buying but we are actively looking as we know that the value of gold coins has increased and has been very stable in the past months. We are still looking at where we could possibly buy some and get a good value for our money. We feel that it's the best investment especially since bank interest for savings account is not really not high and investing in stocks is not really not good either. Gold is said to be the best investment one could make right now. Hopefully, we find a good market and invest on them.

The Weekend That Was

Friday: To officially start our weekend,we had dinner out. T usually takes me out to dinner Friday night and we went to Firefox Steak House for this weekend. Food was yummy of course and being with T was fun as usual. I always, always look forward to weekends as we get to spend 24 hours together.

Saturday: It was Audrey's graduation from kindergarten so we drove up to the valley to be with family. We had to leave the house early as it usually takes an hour and a half to get there. Graduation started at 11am and it was the fastest graduation I've ever attended. It was all over in less than 45mins. I'm not complaining though as we were all hungry already. We were treated to sumptuous chinese food after for lunch. We spent a the whole afternoon with my cousins so it was really fun. My uncle was telling us about his new investment. He was offered by a good friend to buy gold coins. I do think it's a good investment because the value of gold has been increasing. We had dinner with SIL's family after.

Sunday: We woke up really late. We were really looking forward to sleeping late. We had brunch at a Dimsum restaurant and then headed home to do some cleaning. I'm not really looking forward to do any cleaning but we have to. In the late afternoon, we went to church and went home to watch the Game 5 of the NBA finals. We then had dinner at Lucille's. yummy ribs!

It was a great weekend and I can't wait for the next weekend.

Shoes

I'm now on a lookout for a comfortable shoes. In my current state, I have been told and have read that wearing flipflops is a no-no. Summer is coming soon and I was thinking I can finally enjoy wearing flipflops. But looks like that is not going to happen. I'm thinking of getting a TOMS but T is not really a fan of it. I guess I'm lucky that my only worry is on what shoes to buy and not like the business executive I read about online who is worried on where to buy gold bullion. That's totally more difficult since the value if gold is going up.
Back to shoes, I've thought of getting a TB but I just think it's too expensive. I want a new Melissa shoes but the designs I have been seeing here in the US are the ones I don't like. The designs in Manila are way better. The available designs I have been seeing are the old styles. I hope to find shoes over the weekend.

Gold!

We have been receiving a lot of mail lately with regards to gold investment. Honestly speaking I know nothing about this form of investment and I don't think I will ever know on when is the best time to buy gold bullion. All I know is that keeping your money in the bank is not the best form of investment. That is the same reason we are looking for the best market to invest the very little money/savings that we have. I need to find time to read the letters we have been receiving from all sorts of investment company to know what's best to do right now.

Gold

I was looking at our bank statement and have realized how little we earn from bank interest. I don't think it would make much of a difference if we just keep the money in a safety deposit box inside the house. Well, another reason for that is that we don't really have much in the bank ;)

If you think about it, investing in a foreign currency is not that good either. With the worldwide recession, you don't want to be caught with money in a currency that has lost it's value overnight. If you really think hard and well about it, the best form of investment right now is gold. Im no smart pants when it comes to investments but just by reading business newspaper and researching deeper into the value of gold, even a 5th grader could tell you that it's the wisest investment to make. I remember our Pastor in church even mentioned it.

I would have to look into how much it would cost to buy gold right now and if we do have enough funds to invest on them I would need to make further research about it but I know that if I could come up with a good proposal the T would not hesitate and agree with me that investing on it is way better than keeping money in the bank.

where to invest

have you noticed how much your money is currently earning if you have a time deposit? i feel that keeping the money in the bank and just keeping it at home would not really make much of a difference. the interest rates now being offered by the banks are really low. thank God im not in the banking industry anymore! i could only imagine how hard it is right now to get money placement from clients. this came to my attention after an old client sir D called me up the other day asking me if i knew of elsewhere he could invest. not that i am his financial consultant. but apart from him being a former client, we have become really good friends. i have told him to check out on the price of gold. as i have heard some good feedback. weird as it may sound (imagine having to keep gold in the house or on a vault! seems like old times) i have heard that the investment is really good. the price of gold have remarkably increased and has been a very good option for investors.

jewelries

i have a secret love affair with jewelries. most of those i have though were given by my parents and i have managed to buy a few pieces also. my dad would usually give us gold jewelry on special occasions. love jewelries since they would complete an outfit. i can't go out of the house without my necklace and earrings. jewelries are also very good investment as the value does not depreciate.

gold!

i can't believe the bank interest rates for savings account. super low. no wonder people starting to look for other investments that will yield a higher interest or earning.

a classmate of mine who opted for early retirement from their company to be able to concentrate with nursing school invested his retirement money into something different. i first actually thought she was joking when she told me that she bought some gold bullions. she got the idea from her chinese sister-in-law. honestly, i think it is a really cool investment. gold, many say is the best form of money and is one of the best ways to preserve one’s wealth and purchasing power. Gold bullion is a indeed unique investment. not only unique but come to think of it a really good one too.
