UP

I'm not a big fan of cartoons but tremendously enjoyed the movie UP. The movie was funny, heartwarming and simply entertaining. Russel (the fat kid) was super cute. He sounded and reminded me of the boy in the movie "The Kid".

Watching the movie made me miss Wowo, my maternal grandfather. My faternal grandfather died when I was 3 so I don't really have much memories of him. Growing up, I'ld often see Wowo especially when he goes to Manila for meetings or when I'ld go to Bacolod for vacations. I had fun vacations then. Wowo would bring us to work, golf club, or would just bring us around. I remember that one time he brought me with him when he met up with a rare coin dealer as he was trying to have a part of his collection sold. He wanted to get new golf clubs and it was just way to expensive and he thought of selling a few of his coins. It took time before he found a dealer he liked and trusted.

The movie is a must see one. Bring tissue too as some parts might bring you to tears.

i love torrent!

everything and anything i need i could download from torrent. i get the games i play from torrent. i get my weekly dose of grey's anatomy, house md, pushing daisies, and private practice from torrent (not the past weeks though bec no new episodes are being aired bec of the writer's strike). apart from my tv series, i was also able to get a copy of for one more day movie which is super nice. AND right now, as i write this and finish all my tasks--im already downloading the movie P.S. i love you. im keeping my fingers crossed though that it's clear. three more hours of downloading to go!

with the kiddilets

here is a picture taken on christmas day. we were waiting for the 5:50PM screening of SSS. we just came from the arcade and i got tired cheering on the kiddilets as they were playing. funny that i look so tired while tj and miguel looks like they could still play for an hour at the arcade.

.:: we had an 80's themed Christmas party. we all had fun dressing up with matching music from the 80's.



.::met up with relatives again after lunch at rockwell to watch a movie and for dinner (we do this every year). we watched the judy ann-ryan movie because we liked the KKK movie last year. unfortunately, the SSS movie was not as expected. the scenes were not really funny and some parts were parang pilit. i didn't like the scene's with bronson anymore unlike last year. i think we should have just watched maricel's movie.

i super loved the book. i cried more than three times when i was reading it. i luckily got the book at a discounted price and it was super worth it. i finished reading the book in one day, that was how much i loved it ( take note: it takes me hours to finish a chapter of a nursing book).

they made a movie out of the book. it always has been that the book is better than the movie but i still can't wait to watch the movie.

i have stayed home the rest of the week apart from a quick trip to the grocery with mom and dad. i was really glad i was able to go out last night. traffic was really bad as yesterday was the last payday before christmas and a lot of the companies had their christmas party last night. with the traffic, the plan of going to serendra was scrapped and we just went to trinoma. had dinner and then watched enchanted which was a nice movie (ohh, i love mcdreamy!). after the movie just went around trinoma a bit and then went home.

i have spent half of today watching season 3 of hell's kitchen. i love hell's kitchen the only downside is it makes me really hungry. i am hoping to finish the third season tonight and get to finish my opps as well.

it's only thursday but it has been a long tiring week. lucky us, we got a chance to go home early today so no traffic (woohoo!). i had planned to sleep but i thought of rewarding myself by watching a movie. lucky me, i saw a dvd at my aunt's house of the movie no reservations. loved the movie! super cute. i never found aaron eckhart cute, but he was in the movie. it's one of those movies that makes you feel good after. and the tag line of the movie is so true--life isn't always made to order!

in between reading my nursing reviewers to save me from going crazy, i read. newspaper, magazine, archie's or any book i could get my hands on. i purchased a few weeks back the book p.s. i love you by cecelia ahern and the book is a must read. super nakakaiyak. it was so hard for me to put the book down. i read that a film adaptation is currently in production. i hope the movie is as good as the book. i can't wait to buy her other books but that would have to wait till after the boards or else i won't be able to concentrate with the review.

a love story

when i first saw the trailer, i immediately made a mental note that i will watch the movie when it comes out. and then towards the end of last week i read about how kathy and rosa enjoyed the movie. i have not had the change to watch a tagalog movie since december but i sure loved and enjoyed the movie. i story was good, something you would not expect. the acting was ok. i loved RS francisco in the movie.

i would have wanted to have a different ending, but like what my mom and tita josie said, the ending of the movie is morally correct. and that what makes the ending nice. a must see movie tagalog flick. (tita benj, if you are reading this make sure you get to watch it!).

transformers,heat and boxing

finally got to watch transformers. i never really watched the movie as a kid but the movie was great. i love the funny scenes the most. too much action towards the end for me though. but over all it was a great movie. really entertaining.

we had dinner at heat to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary and my mom's bday. food was really great....especially the dessert. pictures posted here.

i will be boxing this week! im excited.
