Rainy Monday

Today was a complete opposite of last week's weather. It was so hot last week and it has been gloomy and raining all day today. I was thinking of going out to I don't know where but at the last minute decided I should just stay inside the room. Pretty boring if you ask me.
I was just taking naps or watching TV all day since I've finished reading the book we bought last week. I could not find anything good to watch other the business news which talked about gold coins. It really caught my attention when they said that buying gold coins is the best way to preserve one’s wealth and purchasing power. I guess gold is really the best way to go now-a-days instead of investing in stock market.
Anyhow, I hope tomorrow is going to be a fruitful day for me. I have to do our laundry and then find something else to do. I should probably prepare the bag I would be bringing me with me to the hospital or pack the baby bag since we have finally bought a diaper bag over the weekend. Will see. Depends on the weather. If it's gloomy and rainy again I might end up in bed again.

Good Morning Saturday

It's rare for me to wake up early on a Saturday especially since we are not going out. Today, I was up before 7am and could not seem to go back to sleep. A number of things are on my mind esp with the kitchen renovation having to start on Monday, we still have a ton of things to do. I wish I could just sit around, surf the internet, finish the gold coin research I am doing and enjoy the weekend. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to do that. Maybe in the coming days when the renovation is in full swing I could but I doubt it too as I need to hide in the room to keep myself away from all the dust.

Lucky

We were cleaning the house one Saturday afternoon when I accidentally bumped into T's box of coins. I had to pick it all up of course and saw four pieces gold coins while doing so. I immediately told him they were now mine since I found them. He just laughed and told me that to just make sure to keep it safely and since it was only four pieces that he thinks I won't be able to buy much with it anyways. Of course I ended up giving him the coins. I just told him to buy me ice cream in exchange for the gold coins.
On that same day, I was told of a good news from back home. The good new totally made my day of course. And I do feel lucky or should I say blessed for all the good things coming my way. I bet you little "tornado" is my lucky charm.
