Kung Hei Fat Choy

i wasn't able to blog about what happened to me day after my birthday--i thought nothing would happen to me day after my birthday....i was so lazy the whole day. i wanted to do a lot of things like renewing my drivers license ( yes i do have a drivers license--non-pro ha hindi student's), checking out nursing schools, pay bills, etc. pero wala--walang nangyari!
at about 5pm i got a call from my mom she left again her car keys inside the car--AGAIN because this just happened to her last december. so i had no choice but to take a cab and go to mandaluyong to the house of tita grace to bring the car keys. as i was about to leave the house ( actually naka alis na ako kasi nasa kanto na ako e) to watch LOTR with E, my cousin called me looking for the spare key kasi naiwan ulit yung key--yun pala both keys nasa akin. hay!
after jan 1 i always look forward next to my birthday, and then chinese new year because of tikoy!
we (people from the office & me) celebrated chinese new year in one of the restaurants in tomas morato--Little Asia (they serve the best salted frog legs and i love the fried chicken). It was a full house that night, maybe because of the dragon dance at 9pm. it was a good thing the owners are clients and they gave us special treatment--talk about connections! food as usual was wonderful. as we were starting dinner "stars" started arriving...kaya feeling stars din kmi. interviews were done by abs-cbn reporters, video cameras all over the place--rubbing elbows with the some what famous kmi!=)
dragon dance was fun..it was fun watching kasi colorful ang costumes, galing ng moves and parang happy lang lahat ng tao...syempre happy kasi nga new year for the chinese people who use the chinese calendar (parang walang sense yun sinulat ko ha).
so...enjoy the tikoy na lang.....
