medical city

i was at medical city last night with the parents and my sister to visit cousin T who gave birth to our family's new princess, baby bindi (i will be posting more about bindi later). medical city is a really nice hospital, the only things i don't like about it is it is quite confusing. i don't get it on why the nursery viewing room is at the lower ground floor while the delivery room and NICU is at the 5th floor. elevators are really slow and parking is super confusing too. other than that, i like the hospital. the rooms are really nice. i envy the nursing students i saw who had their own room. i remember when i was doing my clinical rotations, we would often just stay in a vacant room. that's how it is with government hospitals. their was even one time we had to vacate the room because they were admitting a patient who had Adult Asthma. im just glad those days are now over. it was also funny that one of the nurses at the hospital obviously didn't have anything to do last night as she was just playing diner dash. lucky her!
