SURPRISE! We had a surprise birthday party for Tito Sonny Boy. He turned 60 yesterday but as what tita benjie said age does not matter as long he lives a happy life, he is healthy and could still do the boogie.



He didn't have an idea that his children were planning him a surprise party. All he thought was we were having dinner for his birthday. He got the shock of his life as friends and family surprised him with a dinner/inuman party at gweilos in Makati. When my uncle saw his friends he greeted them all with P***** I** while shaking and hugging his guests. My cousin then commented that my tito was mad despite the beerday surprise bec he was cursing his friends, teehee.

Highlights of the party are:

One: With good food, drinks, and good company = perfect party! I know everyone had fun. Too bad I had to work that same evening (I went straight to work from the party), I was limited to drinking iced tea.



Two:It was also peew's coming out party. With Mike sa kahon and Gobin in guitars, she serenaded her dad and the guests to a wonderful Hey Jude song number.



We originally planned on doing a dance number but had to change plans for the lack of time to meet up and practice. The task of the special number was left to peew.

Three:Tett prepared a video presentation for his dad. She even got Snooky Serna (a local actress) to greet. The video presentation was really nice--labor of love ni Sonny Boy Jr!

Four:The cake (from becky's) with the pang brownout candles.



Five:When the bday boy gave his thank you speech he started bawling (exagge!). Tears of joy lang yun for sure.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
