Vacation

Looking at this pictures I took of our short stay at Shangri-La Mactan makes me want to go on vacation again.

We do have another vacation lined up. I have purchased the tickets already and have made hotel arrangements for destination #2. We got our hotel for free as my cousin gave me GC's. Bee is to take care of booking the hotel for destination #1. I can't wait for our vacation! Before I go on vacation, I have to make sure I have everything at work done and atleast make a lot of progress with my review. If i could only finish reading up on mesothelioma over the weekend. Atleast with everything I have to do, I get to look forward to something.

Anoop No More

I still think it should have been Matt to leave AI not Anoop. I know Anoop does not stand a chance of winning American Idol and so does Matt. My top two would be Danny and Adam. A career is waiting for both of them for sure. Im just pissed that the judges used the "save" on Matt. My guess is that next week, Matt is leaving. I hope he does. Seeing him on the show irritates me. I don't know why but Im just irritated with how he looks. He looks like the rv salesman we met a month ago. No offense to the Matt Giraud fans, I really just want him OUT!

Patrick Swayze

Can't help but feel super sad upon seeing this picture of Patrick Swayze. You could definitely see how Pancreatic Cancer has affected him. One would think he is drinking diet pill but he is not. All the weight loss has been caused by his illness. Not only did he lose a lot of weight but his look older too. I remember him most with his movie "Ghost" with Demi Moore. I hope he wins his battle against the Big C.

Gift for Bindi

I have to start making a list of possible gifts for Bindi. In a few months time she'll be turning 1 already. I have yet to ask my cousin (Bindi's mom) on what she needs but I was thinking of maybe getting her a walker but my mom said she might only get to use it for a week tops a month and then she won't be needing it anymore. For all we know, she might be walking already when she turns 1 and my gift would not be useful anymore. What would a 1 year old girl need? She has tons of clothes already, some she only got to use once as she is getting bigger and bigger (not to mention cuter) everyday. Everyone is just crazy about this little girl, especially my uncle and aunty. I agree with what most people say that the grandparents are spoilers, teehee. So, any suggestions on what I should get for Bindi? I still have 5 months to think about it.

This stuff is just addictingly good. I have been eating this since yesterday, ayayay! Warming it up in the microwave for a few minutes makes it even more delicious. Can't get enough of it. I should really stop buying all this and all the other junk food I buy. Maybe I should even stop going to S&R because every time we go there, we end up buying food that is making me gain weight.

Finally

After weeks of waiting, 3 if I remember it correctly their will be new episodes of Gossip Girl (currently downloading) and Grey's Anatomy this week. For some reason, I have been downloading a lot of movies, series and audiobooks again. Im excited the most for Grey's Anatomy and on what will happen to Izzie. McDreamy is not a Mcdreamy for me anymore. He looks so old already. It's about time they add a new character that might spice up the show a bit.

how to lose weight?

ugh! i have been gaining weight and i can't stop eating (esp red mango fro-yo!) and drinking cold drinks. i need to lose all the weight i have gained the past 2 months as i am off to another vacation in 2 months.

i always tell myself i won't eat that much or i will lessen my food intake but just a minute ago i ate 2 pieces of keebler soft batch cookies and a glass of chocolate milk. I still have popcorn and pringles waiting to be eaten. i eat too much junk i know and if i don't stop i might end up needing lipo 6 black. Any suggestions on diets that has worked for you? I can't do the no rice diet as I end up with very bad memory everytime i skip rice and with me reviewing, i can't go on a no carb diet. help!

Holy Week 2009

For 2007 & 2008, we went to Baguio for the Holy Week. For this year, we didn't want to go to Baguio anymore and wanted to go somewhere nearer for the long weekend. Unfortunately, all the resorts I called were already booked but my friend from high school can accommodate us for an overnight stay. Since it was only in Bataan, we decided to go even if it was just an overnight trip. We left Manila at around 7am of Sept 11.


On our way back to manila the following day, we of course went to Subic for some shopping. My cousin-in-law wanted to go to Tagaytay for that weekend because he had to look for horse supplies but everyone wanted to go to the beach so Bataan was the perfect place to go too.

Short vacation but super fun!

Crazy Monday

Monday is always a busy day. So many things to do, so little time. Since I started working again, i started hating Monday's. Just a busy day! Had to make a lot of calls today but still ended up not finding the Accountant that we need. Sigh, i hope to find someone by tomorrow. Other than work, i have also started my online review for the NCLEX. It's hard to be studying again after not doing so for more than a year so i do hope to find my groove back--soon i hope.

It's a good thing I was able to send the pictures of the patio furniture my Uncle wants to buy for their house in dumaguete. I should have sent that last week and i totally forgot.

I hope tomorrow is going to be a better day.

Jeweler and Magic Jack

Anyone of you who knows a good jeweler? I have been looking and searching online for jewelers as I need a ring resized and cleaned. I have had that ring for a long time but have not worn it for a very long time since it's too big for me. My mom has a jeweler but she migrated to the US already. I have been looking for one for so long now and Im quite desperate already so if you know one, let me know.

I bought a magic jack from mem 3 months ago and im loving it. I get to talk to family and friends in the US and Canada anytime I want without thinking of the cost of calling overseas. So far, i have had no problems with my MJ. All is good and it has been fun calling up relatives. They have all asked if I have moved to the US already as I have been assigned a US number too. So fun to be talking and talking and talking! Teehee.

Quiet Manila

For the first time after a very long time, We are staying home for Holy Week. Technically, we are going out-of-town on saturday but we usually leave holy thursday. For this year, all the resorts i called are already booked. I thought establishments would be close for the day but groceries and restaurants are open. I think in a few more years even the malls would be open too. It's nice to be staying home though watching TV, cooking, spending sometime online and reading.

S&R

Last week was a 5 day sale at S&R. It was the perfect time to shop and buy junk food for our out of town trip this coming Saturday. Going to the grocery is always super fun and relaxing. I found a lot of goodies for sale and got to buy mini pringles, cheetos, chocolates, and juices. For someone who is trying to lose weight all the junk I bought is definitely bad food. Weddings

A friend is planning for their wedding next month in Boracay. Planning for a wedding alone is tedious and stressful (but absolutely fun) and having to plan a destination wedding is double the stress i assume.

If I was to have a destination wedding, i'ld have a Cancun Destination Wedding. Only the best for me and my bee of course. A nice, romantic and a vacation filled wedding not only for us but also for our guests. I always watch Destination Weddings on cable TV and one of the best features was that wedding in Cancun. It was indeed a dream come true for the couple.

American Idol

I am an American Idol fan. Love it!

This season, im hoping that either Danny Gokey or Adam Lambert wins.

To be honest Im an Anoop fan too.

It was sad to see Scott go but I was pretty sure he was not going to make it to the finals.

`Lil is next to go. Used to like her going to the top 13 but she has become pretty boring.

Allison though is really talented but im annoyed of the red hair...just me, ok.

Matt and Kris are to go after `Lil and probably Anoop.

Talking about AI...the two David's of last season are having a concert. I want to watch!

IL Terrazzo

If you live in Quezon City and you've tried all the restaurants in Trinoma, I suggest you head to IL Terrazzo in Tomas Morato (in front of Burgoo and near ABSCBN). Their are about 8-10 restaurants you can try including Omakase (really good Japanese restaurant), Banapple, Aresi (it's back!), 8 spices and Pink Pepper. At the basement is Rustan's grocery. They have a basement parking that uses car lifts. We hope to try all the restaurants soon. Im just glad that Banapple is now near where i live and that Aresi is back.

Holy Week...

We always make it a point to go out of town during Holy Week. I know that it's the best time to be in the city as everyone else is out of town, but this is also the only time most of my relatives are available to go on a two or three day vacation.

Last year, we went to Baguio. It was the same destination 2 years ago. I usually plan for our out of town trips but since I started planning late for this year, I had problems in booking resorts.

Luckily I stumbled upon a classmate from high school's facebook account and saw that they have a resort in Bataan. I immediately got in touch with her and booked our accommodation for the Holy Week. This is the first time in a very long time that we go to the beach so I'm pretty much excited. I'm thinking I might need appetite suppressant to lose some weight before we head off to the beach.

Research

Been doing a lot of research lately...mostly for work. Just random stuff like servers, Japan, Ha Noi, Health Spa's, forex and gold. I don't know on what I would do if internet and computer was not invented. It would have been super difficult to research. Internet has surely made my life easier. Researching has been fun (ack! im turning into such a geek.) but it's the reports and compiling of the things i have found online that's now piled up. Im hoping to finish this soon (like tomorrow) as I know i am to be given more things/tasks to do in the coming days. The only things is I try not to do anything work related after my 4 hour shift and that's why things has been piling up. Anyhoo, I think I have all the information I need especially on gold that has been a priority item and i can now finish my reports.

- Not a lot but i am trying to atleast eat a banana a day. The past few days though other than the usual banana i have been eating mangosteen (yum!).

back to work

i have not been working for 7 months and just this week i started working again. Only this time i work only 4 hours a day to give time to do other things such as reviewing for the NCLEX. i still have to get my groove back and the past 2 days has just been adjusting to the schedule (i have to wake up early again!) but I must say it's all good--so far. I hope everything turns out to be good in the coming weeks. Im happy i got an offer from the same company i used to work for at least i still get to work from the comforts of our home. Working keeps me busy, keeps me thinking, and earns me money...that i think it the best part. The pay is not that big but atleast i have money to spend when i go out with friends, buy for things online and money to buy frozen yogurt, teehee!

Im looking forward to next week's show. I have so many favorites for this season. I would have to help my Aunt with purchasing wholesale electronics for her restaurant before wednesday. This was something we should have done today but had to cancel since i wanted to watch the live show online.

Vacation, Vacation!

This early, I am already planning for yet another vacation for July. I have not even posted anything about my cebu-bohol-palawan trip and here i am again planning for another one. We are still undecided on where to go. How i wish we can go to New York with all the good New York City hotel rates i saw online. That of course could wait. For now, another local destination trip would do. Im thinking Cagayan de Oro or Dipolog. Any Suggestions?

A Supermarket Find

I grew-up drinking Chocolait in bottles delivered every morning right at our doorsteps. It was a drink that brought back so many good childhood memories. I missed the Chocolait drink for awhile but it came back a few years back. I still preferred Chocolait over the other Cholcolate Milk drink.

On my trip to the Supermarket a few days ago, look at what i saw..



The strawberry based tastes like tequilla rose and the mocha one tates so good too. try it!

Monday Again

~new week, new list of things to do and hopefully i get to have all the things/docs i need for this week.

~we are now halfway through february, in two weeks it's officially the start of summer. im starting to miss the cold weather already and dreading the heat of summer.

~last friday was the start of a new season for survivors and today was the start of the new season for amazing race. both shows are just ok for now. hopefully it'll get interesting in the coming weeks.

~im totally addicted to frozen yogurt. especially red mango at trinoma. yum!

bits and pieces

what ever weight i have lost in the last 2 months i think i have gained back in one month. crazy! the weight loss was not really intentional and an aunt even thought i was taking Stimerex ES. i was not, but i think i would have to if i don't stop gaining weight.

i have not been watching Grey's but i read that katherine heigel and T.R knight are leaving the show. that's going to be so sad. i love the izzy character! i have bought a dvd of the current season and im hoping to be able to watch it soon.

i miss my friends from nursing school and im just glad we get to meet up again tomorrow for lunch. im pretty sure it's going to be f-u-n!

Flowering Cherry

One of the reasons I want to go to Japan is because I want to see a Flowering Cherry. I have seen pictures of it online and on television, they were beautiful. I want to have my picture taken with tons of them. Another reason I want to go is because of Meiji Chocolate. Yeah, so Japan is on my wishlist of to go to's. Maybe one day (soon i hope), I'ld be able to go there.

Want to share with you guys a picture of our room at Daluyon Beach Resort. It was a nice room but I hope they had better lighting. The resort was nice. The beach was boracay like sans the white sand and the party atmosphere. If I was to rate Daluyon, out of 10 I would give it only a 6. The food was bland and expensive. Thanks to Taraw Beach Resort, the resort right beside ours we had wonderful and really affordable meals. Second, the package tours they had was super expensive too. the undergroud tour was priced at Php1,450 when we only paid Php150 per head at the registration office. Third, the manager SUCKED!.

I will go back to Sabang, but not to Daluyon. I'ld wait for the 90+ unit resort to finish before I go back or would rather stay in Taraw than have to deal with a manager who was very irritating.

Red Mango

The first time I saw the newly opened Red Mango, I wanted to try it--Sadly, we never got to try it. I have been addicted to frozen yogurt (healthy food!). And since I have been craving for frozen yogurt, my quick trip to trinoma this afternoon gave me the reason to satisfy my craving. I loooove it! I had the original yogurt with mango and strawberry as topping and I regret ordering a medium size only. I will surely come back for more. If you happen to be at trinoma, do drop by Red Mango. It's at the 3rd floor near toys-r-us. It's better than ice cream because it's not as fattening (yeah, im justifying what I ate this afternoon).

What to do?

With the ongoing economic crisis, im worried for a good family friend of ours. His main line of income is selling business insurance. we all know how insurance companies are doing right now--Not Good. He has 3 kids, all going to school, the wife is not working and is all in school. The wife texted me a few days ago if i can refer them to friends as the husband has not made a single sale for the month of January. If the same thing happens for the month of February, he might lose his job. That is something they can't afford to happen. Im not really inclined to giving out my friends number, as first i don't do that and second, i don't think any of them would be interested in getting an insurance this time of the year. But at the same time, im thinking that the type of insurance that our friend is selling is not really bad as it might actually be your safety net if your someone who has a business. hmmm...what should i do?

new room

about a week a ago when i transferred to a new room. im still in the process of fixing my things. the room is smaller than my old room so it is easier to clean, teehee. i will just try to look for area rugs tomorrow. the walls are in pink so i would just get a color that would compliment or match the room. when i finish fixing the room, i promise to take a picture of it.

TGIF

it's friday tomorrow and i have a few things i have to do. im praying and keeping my fingers crossed that it won't be traffic so i can have everything done after lunch. i will have to check if my cousins dermatologist in greenhills have stocks of the acne treatment cream she uses, so i can get her some and send it to her. they didn't have stocks when she was here 2 weeks ago. good thing all my errands are near greenhills area.

Missing Television

Im a self confessed TV junkie...i should say used to be a TV junkie. Since i transferred rooms and sadly my room has no TV i have not been watching much television. I have missed out on American Idol and all the other TV shows i used to watch. Hmm...this is good, right? I have to get used to a no television environment again since I am planning to start my NCLEX review. Let's see on how long this is to last.

back to business

i have been wanting to put up a business. i guess even if i have shifted career path a few years ago when i took up nursing, a part of me would still want to have a business of my own in the future. i proud of a college friend who has taken over their family business. it was a business that was put up by her dad and was later on managed by her older sister. that sister got married a few years back and after getting pregnant last year has announced her retirement. they thought of either selling the business or just closing it down since my friend was too scared to manage it. with much convincing though and with the support of her family and friends, she has decided to manage the business. she has been doing so and has been making a lot of changes which is definitely and improvement with a new digital signage in their shops. six months into managing the business, and i can say she is doing pretty well. it has not been an easy road for her, especially with the economic crisis but it has not been all bad either. she serves as an inspiration to us her friends.

craving

i have to stop eating. i think whatever weight i have lost in the past two months, i have gained back in 2 weeks. it's that bad. i missed my "junk" food that's why i have been buying chips again. right now, im craving for teriyaki boy's Tempura Tuna Sashimi, fluke's mango mallow pie, a really good pizza and a really good burger. I also want to have frozen yougart. i have to eat all of this by January. By February, i will go on a diet again, teehee. maybe i should try one of the best diet pills recommended by my friend. hmm, will see.

shoes

im a flipflops girl. where ever i go, most of the time and if i could get away with it, i'ld be wearing flipflops. i don't even remember the last time i bought shoes.

last tuesday, T and i went to Shangri-la to meet up with some friends and to go "shopping". we both could not find anything we wanted to buy and then i remembered i have wanted to try melissa shoes. i have read that it's really comfortable and light weight. since rustan's was on sale, i got mine at 10% off.




i am now a happy owner of melissa campana. i've worn it twice already. for some reason, it's not really comfortable for me but im guessing i just need to get used to wearing shoes. just the same i love it.

im back!

for the first time since i started blogging i was not able to post a Christmas and a New Year message. im such a bad blogger! i missed on finishing a lot of tasks too, tsk!

under the weather

i hope to feel better soon. i have not drank medicine as i think water therapy would work. i have sooo many things to do but i can't seem to start on any of them. i slept really early last night. was in bed by 11pm and was sleeping before 12. i have not done that in quite a long time.

dream match

tomorrow is an exciting day for boxing fans. it's the fight we have all been waiting for. manny pacquiao's biggest fight ever and a possible last fight for oscar dela hoya. my dad bought our tickets for to watch the fight tomorrow. we considered watching at national sports grill, but decided to just watch from a mall tomorrow as what we usually do. this are the times that make me wish we have home theater seating at home so we can just subscribe to pay per view and watch the fight from home. i am hoping manny wins the fight. this is a first for me as i have most of the time sided with manny's opponent.



pacquiao is obviously the underdog for this fight. look at how small manny is compared to oscar during this morning's weigh in. i believe that pacquiao has a bigger heart, moves faster and has the entire Philippines cheering him on. i do hope he wins and just in case he does not, i just hope he does not get hurt real bad.

december weekends

december weekends is always super busy and super traffic. was out the whole day of yesterday, half of the day was spent inside the car. i love Christmas season and it is my favorite time of the year but the traffic is just draining all my happy energy. im not even the one driving and yet i feel so tired already with just sitting in the car. my mom didn't mind the traffic though as she was willing to go to makati just to get some discount furniture. i on the other hand, promises to make sure i go out only on weekday and before rush hour. i know the traffic could even worsen in the coming days especially with the pump price going down. oh well, it ain't Christmas if it's not traffic.

i was dead tired when i got home last night. the things i did was not really tiring, it was the traffic that made me feel super tired. when i got home though, i had a nice surprise waiting for me. i immediately opened it and took pictures of it.

first post of the month

exactly one year ago when i took the nursing board exams. it was 2 days of examination but years and months of preparation. im just super happy i and my friends passed!

i can smell Christmas already. Christmas as mentioned in previous posts is my favorite season of the year. Christmas spells H-A-P-P-I-N-E-S-S! it is indeed the most wonderful time of the year. excited for Christmas this year. my dad and uncle are very busy putting up Christmas lights and a few more decors. it's good that my uncle is here from bacolod to help out my dad. they will also finish the installation of the cabinet for the second door but i will have to make a quick trip to the mall to buy some linear motion for them.

im looking forward to attending a friends party in 2 weeks. she is celebrating her 30th and that's why for the first time ever she is having a party. this party is not only a celebration of her birthday but the blessing of their new house. she's been a flight attendant for 4 years now and one of the things she's been wanting is to buy a house, finally that dream came true. she bought the house early this year but it took sometime to complete the renovations. since she has been travelling she wanted a moroccan inspired house that's why she used Moroccan decor. it was difficult for her at first as she had to bring a lot of the things for the house from her trips. it was hard to find Moroccan decor pieces here. that is the same reason why the blessing of the house was delayed but for me it actually came as a perfect timing as she gets to celebrate her birthday and have the house blessed. i saw pictures of the house already and all i can say is it really is pretty so i am excited to see her new house.

brended foster

a little boy made me cry this morning. an 11 year old boy who is so sick and dying but still thought of how he could help the hungry and homeless. a little boy who was given a short time to live but chose not to be sad and blame God with his illness but instead chose to have a great time, make the most out of his life and live it like that. an 11 year old boy who gets sad not when he does not get the toys he want but when someone gives up. a boy who said that the best thing in life is having one. brenden is wiser than most people i know. he might have succumbed to leukemia, but he has surely been a blessing and an inspiration not only to his family but to a lot of people.

today, he reminded me to follow my dreams and to not give up.

tiring and really busy week. i was glad to be able to finish a lot of things this week. it's a month before Christmas and traffic has been very bad already. i can only imagine how bad traffic would be by next month. especially the days leading to Christmas. good thing December comes only once in a year. teehee.

overcoming anger

bannaple

the only time i get to have a taste of bannaple is when cousins bring their cakes during parties or if i get to go to katipunan. the good news is bannaple is now in tomas morato. hooray for me and for those who enjoy their food. i hope though that even if they are starting to branch out and expand, that they get to keep the quality of their food.

beauty 101

as soon as i wake up in the morning, i grab the remote control to watch either today show or good morning america. after a few more minutes i get my asus and check my email. stay in bed for 30 more minutes to an hour and start my day. today was a little different. instead of watching my morning shows, i watched beauty 101. it's the show of vicky belo on a local channel. im not trying to get tips on how to look beautiful since what they mostly discuss are the surgical enhancements they do in their clinic. pretty much the same with Denver Plastic Surgery. what some people would to for beauty and to stay slim. not only do they have to endure the physical pain but also the they would have to spend a lot of money with every procedure done. take note that it's not only women who undergo such procedures but men too.

FG

i was watching the evening news, and they said that FG was just suffering from diarrhea. his arrived manila this afternoon via a private plane from osaka japan. i think it's more than diarrhea. just my opinion and i could be wrong. ok, it could be diarrhea but then again it could be karma too. im not wishing him harm but i just noticed that his health has been deteriorating the past years. is this God's way of teaching him a lesson. nuninuninu. more of this story here.

this is bad. i want to eat fluke's mango mallow pie! i don't know on how i can convince my dad to go to makati tomorrow as i am pretty sure he'ld want to watch haton's fight on tv. maybe if i tell him i'ld buy him mini burgers and a mango mallow pie, he'ld say yes on driving for me. let's see what happens.

this early, i have been checking online sites of what i can get her for Christmas. i found really nice baby bedding but i will still have to check with my cousin on what bindi needs. so many nice things online that i know she could use and a lot of nice dresses too. im excited for her first bday too. uhm, i forgot she is only turning 3 months in a 2 weeks. teehee.

- i don't window/online shop as i always end up buying something i don't really need.

- yes. when i bought the book PS I Love You by celia ahern, i was so excited to read it so while waiting for my parents to come out of the movie house i started reading it and i ended up using the receipt as a bookmark when they came out of the movie house.

- i was in kinder school so around 4-5 years old when i had my first and only hospitalization. i got sick with i don't know what (i was too young pa to care) but i remember the doctors having a hard time inserting my IV. 2-3 people would have to hold me for them to insert one plus they were having problems in locating veins where they could insert it. not only that, my IV would always get dislodged. i was crying so hard all the time.
4. What is the strangest question you have ever been asked at a job interview?
- what my favorite color is.
5. Does it make you uncomfortable if a woman is breastfeeding her baby in public?
- when i was younger, yes. now...no.
6. Do you know anyone who has an unpredictable temper? Who?
- yes, my ex-manager.

- a lot. most learnings about life and love was learned the hardway.

investments

with the global recession, it's been hard to identify on where to invest. not that i have a lot to invest because i don't but with the very small dwindling savings i have, i HAVE TO find a market where i could invest it. sadly, i could not find any. maybe i should do what a friend from high school did. instead of investing in stocks or putting her money in the bank she has turned to gold investing. for one, the value of gold has not depreciated. if it does in the future i don't think it would be as bad as how stocks has lost it's value. i'm still undecided if i should do this, i still have to research and maybe monitor the market value of gold. thank God, for sites that give me more information about monex as it helps deciding on things like this a lot easier.

fluke

last saturday, after i came back from makati my mom told me we were to eat dinner out since the maids took a day off. after dinner we were going to my aunt's house as she wanted to go to the Holiday Treasures Bazaar at A. Venue Events Hall in makati avenue.

we left the house past 7 and had chinese food at for dinner. after, we went to my aunts house and then went to A.Venue. since we got there close to 9pm already, the Bazaar was closed already,boohoo! lucky us, there was a tiangge at the parking lot. my mom, sister and aunt went around the tiangge. since i was not really to buy anything, i stayed with my dad, uncle and borgy. After they got tired shopping, we went inside the mall to check out the restaurants. my aunt was telling us about the mini burgers at fluke, so at fluke we went. i didn't get to taste the mini burgers priced at Php95.00 for 3 mini burgers with fries but all of them said that the burger was really good. my uncle ordered mango mallow pie (php65.00) and it was super good! i even bought some for take out. i also bought cream puffs (Php55 for 6 mini cream puffs) and i wish i bought more. i can't wait to go back. maybe this weekend? teehee.

Aries

Congratulations to Aries for being the winner of Project Runway Philippines Season 1. Up to the last minute, i was still hoping that Philip wins. If not for the dress that transforms, Philip would have won. That was the only thing i liked with his collection.

The models they used for the show though were...i dunno! some looked weird, some didn't really know how to walk, the others were super skinny im pretty sure they are taking fat burners. im not a supermodel nor am i an expert in this field but i just wished they got more experienced models for the runway show.

Anyhoo, congratulations to the top three who were christened by Rajo Laurel with new names. Philip, the Romantic, Veejay, the Modernist and Aries, the Technician.

Can't wait for season 2!

who will win?

i am a fan of project runway philippines. i watch this every week and if i miss an episode, i make sure to watch the rerun. from the start i have always liked philip and jaz's work. i was one of those who was so sad to see jaz go but i am very happy that philip made it to the top 3.

tonight is the second part of the two part finale. the long wait is over and the winner of project runway philippines first season is to be announced tonight. i have seen pictures of the fashion show and i must say that aries's collection was really nice but then again, we don't know on what the judges are thinking so philip might still win. i hope he does.

Las Vegas

i would love to someday go to las vegas but for now i would just have to look at pictures of my parents trip to Las Vegas. from the pictures alone, i know they had fun. Im trying to arrange the album and what i did was to include a las vegas strip map and then take note from the map the place they have been, the hotel where they stayed and the hotels they visited. im looking forward in going to Las Vegas as my cousin mimi now works for Bellagio hotel. on when the trip to the city that never sleeps is to happen...soon i hope.

back to school

not me! i don't think i am ready to go back to school--not yet. i am planning to start reviewing again next year but i am not going back to school just yet. i don't think i would have the time. school takes up so much time. you also have to consider your travel time as traffic could get so bad. i think it's the same reason why some have opted to enroll with anonline university. one of my friends from college is currently enrolled in one. it works for her since she is always busy with work plus she has a family to take care of. all she has to do now is to go online to attend classes and to do school work. maybe when i am ready to finish my masters in business administration or if i want to take up further studies in a medical field, the option of online university is something i could do.

bindi

tomorrow is bindi's baptism. im super excited to see the little girl wearing her baptism outfit. i wanted to buy a gift for her earlier, but i could not find any that i want. i might just give her money for now and to see if i can buy her a bumbo seat in the US. the only thing with the bumbo seat is that she might only use it for a few months so im still undecided if i should get her one for Christmas. pictures to be posted tomorrow.

2009 Planner

what to use? that is the question.

for 2008, i bought a moleskine planner. i bought the red one and got one for a friend too.

i was able to complete the stickers for the starbucks planner since i spent most of my afternoon's studying there but i gave the planner to my sister. yeah, she got the planner i gained the weight. teehee.

for this year, i am thinking of what to do. i can either buy a moleskine again, or buy the planner that should change my life (ngek!), or try completing the stickers for a starbucks planner. red cups are back and from what i heard, i would only need 16 cups for this year's planner. or i can just ask my aunt to give me a sunlife planner.
