Big Decision

I enjoy work but it seems like I need to make a big decision soon to concentrate on things I that needs my attention the most....Like reviewing for the NCLEX. I will need to take the exams soon and I need to put my full attention to it. The vacation I took didn't help since I feel like whatever I have reviewed for the past few days, I left in Boracay. Teehee.

T agrees to the decision that to study is top priority for now and to have training after. So looks like I'ld be part unemployed really soon. It's just that work is taking up so much of my time even if I am only suppose to be working part-time and that I am working from home.

No work mean no more malling and no more dining out (which is going to be to my advantage since I'ld have more time to study). I hope though I still get to have red mango once in a while.

Back to Work

Today I went back to work. Lucky me I was able to check on my email in the 2 weeks I was on a vacation so I didn't really have a lot of emails to go through. I then had a meeting with my boss so he could update me on what's going on and the things that I'ld have to do in the coming days or atleast for this week.

It was good that it was not a stressful day today and that I was able to accomplish a lot of things. I had to skip work yesterday since I was still not ready to go to work and Im glad I did because I was able to finish a few things I had to.

Vacation is really over!

SSS

Working from home for a company that is not based in the Philippines has it's disadvantages but I believe the advantages compensates for whatever the disadvantages are.

Just got an email from a staff in the US who needs to file for a social security disability. Our US staff members are pretty lucky as we got Allsup who does the representation for us. All I had to do was forward the request to Allsup and they do all the work. They have been in the business since 1984 and that's one of the main reasons we decided to hook up with them. For one, they have a 98% success rate. That speaks a lot for a company.

I could only wish that they have a branch here in the Philippines to help us with all our claims. Such a hassel to deal with SSS. Not only with SSS really but with almost all government agencies. Too much red tape. If Allsup was only a local company, all I'ld need to do is to forward all the requests and just have them process everything. That's such a convenience. But right now, all I could do is wish.

Crazy Monday

Monday is always a busy day. So many things to do, so little time. Since I started working again, i started hating Monday's. Just a busy day! Had to make a lot of calls today but still ended up not finding the Accountant that we need. Sigh, i hope to find someone by tomorrow. Other than work, i have also started my online review for the NCLEX. It's hard to be studying again after not doing so for more than a year so i do hope to find my groove back--soon i hope.

It's a good thing I was able to send the pictures of the patio furniture my Uncle wants to buy for their house in dumaguete. I should have sent that last week and i totally forgot.

I hope tomorrow is going to be a better day.

Research

Been doing a lot of research lately...mostly for work. Just random stuff like servers, Japan, Ha Noi, Health Spa's, forex and gold. I don't know on what I would do if internet and computer was not invented. It would have been super difficult to research. Internet has surely made my life easier. Researching has been fun (ack! im turning into such a geek.) but it's the reports and compiling of the things i have found online that's now piled up. Im hoping to finish this soon (like tomorrow) as I know i am to be given more things/tasks to do in the coming days. The only things is I try not to do anything work related after my 4 hour shift and that's why things has been piling up. Anyhoo, I think I have all the information I need especially on gold that has been a priority item and i can now finish my reports.

back to work

i have not been working for 7 months and just this week i started working again. Only this time i work only 4 hours a day to give time to do other things such as reviewing for the NCLEX. i still have to get my groove back and the past 2 days has just been adjusting to the schedule (i have to wake up early again!) but I must say it's all good--so far. I hope everything turns out to be good in the coming weeks. Im happy i got an offer from the same company i used to work for at least i still get to work from the comforts of our home. Working keeps me busy, keeps me thinking, and earns me money...that i think it the best part. The pay is not that big but atleast i have money to spend when i go out with friends, buy for things online and money to buy frozen yogurt, teehee!
