thursday....
.::straight from work, went with mama san to the grocery to buy ingredients for the spaghetti i will be preparing for her birthday. correct sassa...i COOKED spaghetti for mama san's bday.
.::after breakfast, we went to pick up amboy from school at 10AM and then i prepared the reviewer for the tutoring session and after the ingredients to be used for the spaghetti.
.::started tutoring before 12pm. finished around 2:30. i was so sleepy waiting for them to finish answering the reveiwer. while "my students" were reviewing for a topic i fell asleep for about 15 mins! bad tutor!
.::had lunch/merienda around 4pm with mama san, amboy and edsel. verdict:delicious spaghetti. pasado for a newbie like me. thanks to the delmonte kitchenomics receipe.
.::edsel went home before 6pm. i thought i was gonna get a chance to get some sleep. but i had to go out to buy something for my mom. was back home by 7pm. had the chance to FINALLY get some sleep.
.::was up before 9pm. went to mama san's house to open the "beer house"
.::was asleep before 12mn.
friday...
.::up early...had to prepare reviewer. ang hirap pala mag tutor. and i thought it was easy!
.::tutor for the day started early since i was going out with edsel. buti na lang exam for the next day was easy. language and filipino only.
.::was out of the house before 3pm. went to the bank first with edsel and then went to chocolate kiss to buy ms mayen (happy birthday!) a cake.
.::visited ibank morato (i miss my old office). and then off we went to greenhills to watch a movie.
.::watched the red eye. was a so-so movie. wala naman na choice e.
.::was suppose to have dinner at metrowalk pero super traffic so we went to marina in timog instead.
.::was home by 2am.
saturday...
.::was up and ready to go to 168 by 8am!
.::the tuaƱo's invaded 168. we were there from 11am to 5pm. shopping gallore...shoppers haven talaga and ung 2K mo sobrang dami mo mabibili. not that i spent that much....because i didn't. it was judging from what mica and ate peach were able to buy.
.::im at the office right now. dead tired and sleepy but no choice...i can sleep later naman. can't wait till next thurs and friday.

Aug 27, 2005
1. had my trip to the salon for a foot spa and pedicure.
2. eating yummy banana que.
3. the smile on amboy's face after buying him a kiddie meal at jollibee. it was the toy that made him smile.
4. went to market2 with edsel and had fun time shopping clothes for him.
5. edsel saying yes when i asked him to buy a bright colored shirt--a big change for him as his shirts are all dark colored.
6. it was a day of shopping for him but i ended up buying the skirt i super want at adidas for a discounted price (half the price).
7. went to glorietta to meet his friends but before meeting his friends i went shopping again while waiting for them and ended up buying 2 shirts and toiletries
8. fridays with friends of edsel for drinks that turned out to be super fun. talked about anything and everything.
9. super late dinner at terriyaki boy with edsel (yummy food as usual).
10. 3 musketeers!!!

.::the whole department is moving to a new floor in a few days...new environment, same job--still is exciting.
.::the start of second semester is so near. back to school for me. i honestly still don't know what to do. is it to go back to school full time. quit work. be a full time student (and a part-time tutor). work part-time. i am only sure of one thing, that i have to go back to nursing school next semester. im just not 100% convinced in resigning. bec of the good things happening in the office. sometimes i wish making decisions is not this difficult.
.::looking forward to going to the mall...panalangin ko lang na may makita na ako na tatlong muskitero. hmp!
.::if you read this you know i am addressing this to you. promise me you will never do it again. but i do appreciate your honesty. and you know that i will always, always be here for you. i know that sometimes we get to do things that we never really mean to doing and that we are just lead to doing it. i have been through times like that also and it is tough. but i guess it is knowing that it is not right and as long as you know what is best for you--that is what really counts. it is normal to be abnormal at times. did i make sense. kung sino ka man *apir*
.::2 days without work...payday on friday...need i say more?
(opo, sadista ako and i had the intentions of making the kid cry. BAD ME!)
bheng: (tatawa-tawa at pabulong na sinabi) psst..iiyak na ang bata.
me: lam ko (nakatawa pa at patuloy pa din tumawa. i only had 3 hours sleep and my imagination went wild. i was imagining na humahabol na ang bata sa amin)
after mga 5 mins baba na ang bata at si ate ne
me:uy, baka maiiwan ulit si bata.
patakbo na bumaba ang bata...siguro gusto na nya sakalin si ate ne sa nangyari.
yun lang...natatawa pa din ako. kaya nga masaya na sumakay ng dyip paminsan minsan e.

we were home by 5PM. had a short nap and then edsel picked me up at 7 for our movie date. the last time we watched a movie was when we watched star wars at greenhills cinema. for a change we watched a movie at galleria (but i still prefer greenhills) bec of the free movie tickets i have and because we wanted to see a movie that has been shown a few weeks back and is not showing at greenhills anymore. the island, was a nice movie. i didn't like the ending though. i would have wanted the movie to end on a different way.
after the movie, we went to caltex starmart in greenhills as i was still in search for my 3 musketeers chocolate. as usual, no 3 musketeers available and edsel told me to just buy big bang. pareho lang din daw kasi yun. i believed him and bought three bars along with a cadbury chocolate to satisfy my craving. we shared one big bang bar on our way home and he told me it does not taste the way he remembers it (i think palusot lang yun kasi hindi pareho ang lasa ng big bang and 3 musketeers). so, im still in search for a 3 musketeers chocolate bar.
was finally able to sleep at 2AM. but i had fun. it's back to work for me for the next 5 days. pero ok lang kasi double pay daw bec of holidays. hehehe!
Aug 17, 2005

for the past 3 months i have been craving and searching for 3 musketeers. help me pleassseee!!! message me if you get to see a store that sells them. parang awa nyo na! hehehe....

before you go any further and admire amboy's pictures, i swear (kumulot man ang buhok ko,amp!) i never asked him to wear the make-up and the accessories. i was preparing to go to work and he was all over my kikay kit asking for what the specific make-up was for. he asked if he could just put a little and i gave in to his request. so technically, im not to be blamed for how he looks on the pictures. i am not to be blamed either for the poses in the pictures bec he is a cam whore--in every sense of the word.
here are more pics of the boy who could also do the masculado dance and literally brought the house down during my parent's anniversary party.
Aug 10, 2005
last saturday was a busy day. from the office, i attended cora's beautiful wedding in makati and then had to rush back to st lukes to check on my mom and then be at the office by 8pm. sleep?!?! i didn't have sleep. i was so tired that i asked workforce if they could just send me home--lucky me, they gave me e-out. the wedding as i mentioned earlier was beautiful. as i saw cora walk down the aisle, i was teary eyed. i know what she has been through a LOT and i am truly happy for her. i know that a lot of her friends were happy for her also. vince (cora's son) was so funny. he was ring bearer and as he was walking he kept on saying "i can't do this". so cute!.Aug 5, 2005
.::a very good friend of mine, cora is getting married in less than 4 hours! super happy and excited for her. wedding will be at union church in makati and reception will be at new world hotel (both the bride and the groom work at new world). i am going to her wedding later with MSO. can't wait to see her in her wedding gown (and can't wait to wear my dress, hehehe). BEST WISHES, CORA!
.::mom will be having her operation later. i asked her if she wants me there but she told me to just go to cora's wedding. it would be a simple procedure and will be over in 30 mins. but please pray for her...she was suppose to undergo the procedure last weekend but at the last minute she changed her mind.
.::been watching starting over and super bitin this afternoon because i will have to wait for two weeks to know if sommer will be asked to leave the starting over house. what i did....went to the website and now i know what will happen to her. ha!
.::amazing race family edition to premiere on sept 27 and survivor guatemala to premiere on sept 15. can't wait! can't wait!
happy weekend to all!!!!

was reading a testimonial of a high school batchmate on our friendster account and it brought back so many memories of high school. im posting some of what she wrote and adding a few very memorable things/events/persons remembered most about SIENNA...
1. PERMIT TO LEAVE! - you have to carry this cardboard everytime you go out of the room. one permit to leave card per classroom only. minsan pwede ka mag trip at itago ang permit to leave...wawa nga lang ung mga super ihi na to go to the bathroom.
2. THE TIE - we are to wear a red tie with our uniform and the tie is suppose to be 5 inches long. but we would adjust it to 5 inches long if may mag check but it goes back to 2 inches long after the flag ceremony.
3. RED PLASTIC BELT - belts are worn on the waist but everyone (except for the new students) wears it sa hips. oppss...who could forget the tube PE uniform.
4. RED JOGGING PANTS and WHITE RUBBER SHOES - PE outfit. pag PE class mo...sa classroom lang magbibihis. i wonder how they fo it now kasi di na exclusive girls ang school.
5. Ang wlang katapusang projects sa T.H.E.- Every week ba naman meron! from the TISSUE HOLDER hanggang
s HAM plus the knitting stuff...to whatever pang pagkakagastusan.
6. HIGHSCHOOL DANCE - hmmm...i think this happens around feb sa sienna hall. B-O-R-I-N-G naman.
7.RESPONSIBLE TEAM - this started mga 3rd year highschool. a class has 6 RT's and every RT has a leader, secretary and treasurer. In 3rd year, i was the foundress of my own RT--RT 7! pasaway talaga!
8.FIRST FRIDAY MASS - everyone is happy because of classes are cut short. teehee!
9. INTRAMS - who would not remember the annual intrams. FUN! FUN! FUN!
10. TAMING OF THE SHREW - a play we watched at then pci bank auditorium in makati. Memorable bec of the LIVE KISSING SCENE. hahaha....
11. PISO ALAY KAY MARIA - one peso collection for the completion of sienna hall. in fairness malaki naman talaga ang naging improvement. from the bulwagang sienna with industrial fans only to an auditorium na airconditioned na. dito namulat ang mata namin sa pagigikil. pag wala ka pang meriends after dissmisal, piso alay sa akin ang drama.
12.Ang Gate s Sto. Domingo sabi me rebulto ilalagay dun pero
hanggang ngyon wala pa din - yes ate charo after 10 years wla pa rin
cia!!
13. STAIRWAY - off limits to students...parang staircase ng hotel. i just wonder why they don't let students use it. pag may special occassion lang.
14. si LOLA SUNGIT - ung nag babantay sa photocopy area. ang sungit to the max!
15. COLLEGE FAIR - jail booth, kiss mark, wedding booth at kung anu-ano pa. syempre pa ang boy watching at octopus ride.
16. SIDE A CONCERT - i was the one responsible for this concert. and one of the most memorable events from high school. i even had my shirt signed by joey G, joey B, kelly, Naldy and the drummer (limot ko name!).
17. `Sang Linggo N APO Sila - out ang school mo pag di kasama sa campus tour nila.
18. TAKESHI CASTLE sa convent area - i guess very memorable ito kay Grace. teehee!
19. TACO PARTY! - an event we had (highschool barkada) a few days before graduation. dito din nagsimula si MARY POPPINS.
20. MY FRIENDS - without them highschool won't be fun. I miss you guys!
and the list could go on...HIGH SCHOOL ROCKS!

.::thanks to choi salon, a korean salon in makati avenue. i like my hair na ulit. weird lang the salon bec the hairstylist is korean and most of the clients are koreans. it's like you are in a koreanovela! teehee! but for super nice hair rebond and hair relax the place is a must!
.::new bed for me! my dad got me a new bed. funny lang kasi i hardly sleep at my room since i started working at night. when i get home from work which is around 6am i sleep at my parents room bec i don't have tv in my room and the tv lulls me to sleep. it is only during my day off that i get to sleep in my room. but still i love my new bed....thanks,pop! how about getting me a tv for my room? =)
.::super excited to get my flipflops from sassa . you could visit her website for flipflop samples and message me for orders.
.::was able to watch wwe raw on tv this afternoon and it was great to see shawn michaels, hulk hogan and john cena on the ring. hulk hogan is old na,hehehe! after he left the ring he was puffing and huffing...na pagod si lolo!
.::its a seven for lance armstrong!
.::we got a lot of calls yesterday and in exchange for that we got free starbucks coffee. weebee to freebies!
.::mom will be having an operation on saturday. she's an out-patient but please pray for her kasi naman nerbyosa. she was suppose to have it last sat but with her high blood pressure, doctor had to postpone the procedure.
.::taking calls again in a few minutes...amp!

mall # 1:
finally, had the chance to go to gateway mall yesterday. went with mom, dad, ate peach, borgy and amboy. i found a bag at rustans that i really like and that is one reason i am coming back. but thats about it. nothing really to rave about. had the chance to eat at taco bell and it was not even as expected. but will have to try the lazy boy seats sa cinema nila with MSO and taco bell again with him. hay...i enjoyed shopwise more than gateway.
mall # 2:
market, market with MSO. MSO wanted to buy shoes so we dedcided to hit the malls in search for the perfect shoes. the mall though was jampacked! we just went to the adidas store, saw a skirt i liked and i thought i didn't really like it but as we were on our way to mall # 3 naiisip ko na sana i bought the skirt na lang. oh well.
mall # 3:
this is where we bought *the shoes*. thanks pashy for the discount. ate at shakey's since MSO has been craving for his favorite pizza for more than a week already. funny that he was born the same year shakey's started. hehehehe...kaya pala favorite.
3 malls in one day is not usually tiring but since i came from work (yup,no sleep!), by the time MSO brought me home which was around 6pm pa since he had to go to work at 4am i was drop dead tired. it took sometime before the maid was able to wake me up from sleep for dinner. im sure if not for my cousins having dinner at our house, goodluck kung magising pa ako.

Politics in my beloved country for the past month has been a mess. Politics in the philippines has been a telenovela that does not have an ending. It stars politicians na parang si selina ng telenovela na "mula sa puso" na ayaw mamatay kahit na ano na ang nangyari sa kanya. politicians here in our country like stars in any telenovela can be a bida today and a contrabida on the next episode.
i grew up in a family where politics is a favorite conversational topic. young and old, everyone is so interested in it. i have relatives who are in politics. and i too have aspirations of becoming one. but with what is happening in the political scene in our country, parang ayaw ko na.
with everything that is happening, mapapaisip ka talaga if may future pa ba for us in our country... what more for the children. will gasoline prices be at three hundred per liter by the time TJ gets to drive, when the time janina is in college, ang happy meal ng mcdo will cost her one hundred fifty pesos just for the chesseburger meal (kulang yun kay nina!), when amboy wants a bottle of red horse beer it would cost him two hundred pesos wala pa videoke and di pa yun grande, and for migsy to go party at absinthe or temple he needs five thousand pesos just for him to get in, have a FEW drinks but have no date.
it may sound funny for now but it is not far from happening. it is just crazy...and it is no laughing matter. every pay day, lahat nagrereklamo about the tax being deducted from the pay--saan nga ba napupunta? with all the fighting and bickering in our political scene, what is in store for our country?

2 chesseburger meal- upsize the drink and fries
1 burger mcdo meal
after an hour of waiting...delivery finally arrives. signed whatever needs to be signed and was uberly excited to eat the cheeseburger. but when we opened the bag what i see is 3 mc chicken sandwiches. huh! what happened to my chesseburger? but due to hunger, we ate the sandwiches and i called up mc do and told them that if i still owe them since i got 3 mc chicken sandwiches, to have someone get the money from my house. i don't want to end up with an upset stomach just because i ate something i didn't pay for. when the delivery boy comes back. he has with him 2 cheeseeburger sandwiches and a burger mcdo sandwich. sabay sabi na "inyo na din ito ma'am". AYOS! and he had a paper bag with 2 large fries and a regular sized fries.

but i don't want to complain. i can't say that i like what i am doing right now. i sure am having fun because i like the friends i have at work. but i don't know if i can do this for a long time. i think that i am still blessed because i have a job. that every two weeks i have money in my atm account and i am thankful for all the blessings i have.
i miss watching movies and my dvds. i haven't bought a dvd for more than two months already which is good actually. it's a good thing that star world and axn have replays of their shows in the afternoon and because of that i am able to watch the shows that i miss. i am happy also that i get to watch eat bulaga, the bulagaan portion is very funny--i love it when gladys guevarra impersonates annabelle rama. it feels like you see tita grace on tv too (hehehehe!). jose is so funny when he impersonates bamboo...buang talaga!
it's past 3 in the morning, i have an hour and a half to go before i can go home. i have to go to work for the next 2 days and then finally it's my day off again. can't wait for wednesday. PLUS! im glad i have my sunday back next week...yes! i don't have to go to work next sunday! we have team building on monday and because of that, day off for next week will be sun and monday. *yehey*
i am ranting...i really have nothing to do. im bored...tried the neopets, but after sometime it bored me too. may bad news...amp! will post again later...
Jun 22, 2005
long post ahead... a trip down memory lane.
naalala ko pa nung....
-tuwing hapon, maglalaro kmi ng cops and robbers sa garage. it was not the usual cops and robbers. you have to make sure na if you are playing you wear an old shirt. kasi after the game, beyond recognition na ang t-shirt mo. ang mga players nun, si ate peach, si jepoy, si borloks, si mimi, si bibing, si tems, di ko na matandaan ang ibang pang players.
-after the 1992 earthquake, since one week walang pasok--one,two,three pass lang ang ginagawa namin. lahat na ata ng dayaan nagawa na namin at may mga kampihan pa para lang wag malagyan ng lipstick or ng powder sa mukha. in fairness, lumabas ang artistic side ng bawat isa sa lipstick na yan.
-around 5:30 in the afternoon, nasa labas na kmi ng gate and aantayin namin si tita peggy. she would usually be home before 6pm. pagbaba nya ng taxi palakpakan kmi lahat at magbibigay pugay sa kanya. syempre, matutuwa siya at lilibre nya kmi lahat ng ice cream ni mang roger (i wonder where mang roger is now?).
-a few years after, mimi went back to finish college (salamat naman). dito na nagsimula ang bonding namin at ni mama san at eventually ni sassaby.
-i remember during the times i get home from school at around 3 and mimi has not eaten lunch yet. bonding time namin ang mag lunch together.
-we would play street badminton or volleyball at around 5 in the afternoon. and then there was a time we would go jogging in the afternoon up to past 6pm. we would go around and it was always fun. naalala ko pa if we get to see nice townhouse units and sasabihin ni bheng na parang masarap tumira dun. sasabihan namin sya ni mimi na sige, "lipat ka na dyan".
-parati kami may sabado nights...malalakas kasi uminom ang mga napadpad sa compound ng time na yun. lahat ng siraulo nagkasabay-sabay mag college. theme song namin that time ang laklak!
-ang boxing bouts ni owelle at archie...
-dressing up owelle and archie as girls...nag mini fashion show pa yan.
-drinking vodka and gilbeys (pag ala pera) with beer as chaser. how did we even manage finishing college?!!?
-going to malate after mamasan's shift at don henrico's. and making sure to be home before the maids wake up.
madaming pang fun memories ang apartment na ito. if walls could only speak. after college though, ako na lang , si mimi, bheng and sassa ang naiwan. then mimi went to the states to pursue her dreams of becoming a chef. and then sassa had to go to bacolod and eventually dumaguete. kmi na lang ni bheng ang naiwan. and what about my other cousins? some are married, others live elsewhere, a few went back to nueva ecija, and one even ended up being a board memeber.
ahay, the joys of living in a compound!
it was amboy's 8th birthday last tuesday. ang laki ng tinaba ni ambs during the summer break. mso was even asking him kung ano daw ang ginawa nya nung summer kasi parang batak ang katawan nya (teehee!). siguro pinagbuhat ng sako-sako ng palay ang bata kaya lumaki.
he had a mini celebration last saturday but bheng and i still made sure we had something to do on his birthday. so we went to greenhills (parang sa amin pabor ni bheng ang greenhills)! i actually had fun that day. na starstruck pa kmi kay richard reynoso sa brother's burger. hahaha...sassa, mas masaya kung andun ka!
i went to kester yesterday with bheng. i was thinking of enrolling again in this school. ang layo kasi ng new school ko and with my work schedule, nakakatamad mag travel (traffic pa naman sa espana). school environment felt different. i didn't feel like studying in that school anymore. i had thought of what to do with regards to my nursing school...but i will have to think and pray about it. will blog about this next time.
i will be back to work later...feeling better and i have recovered from the cough and colds that hit me last week. hopefully i get to go out with mso on weekend. can't wait to watch a movie....

I may not be every mother's dream for her little girl,
And my face may not grace the mind of everyone in the world.
But that's all right, as long as I can have one wish I pray:
When people look inside my life, I want to hear them say,
She's got her father's eyes,
Her father's eyes;
Eyes that find the good in things,
When good is not around;
Eyes that find the source of help,
When help just can't be found;
Eyes full of compassion,
Seeing every pain;
Knowing what you’re going through
And feeling it the same.
Just like my father's eyes,
My father's eyes,
My father's eyes,
Just like my father's eyes.
And on that day when we will pay for all the deeds we have done,
Good and bad they'll all be had to see by everyone.
And when you're called to stand and tell just what you saw in me,
More than anything I know, I want your words to be,
She had her father's eyes,
Her father's eyes;
Eyes that found the good in things,
When good was not around;
Eyes that found the source of help,
When help would not be found;
Eyes full of compassion,
Seeing every pain;
Knowing what you're going through,
And feeling it the same.
Just like my father's eyes,
My father's eyes,
My father's eyes,
Just like my father's eyes.
My father's eyes,
My father's eyes,
Just like my father's eyes
Happy Father's Day POPSIE and to all my Uncle's, Cousin dad's and friends.

thanks edric, for allowing me to post.
Amen.
eto pa...
Aba naman Gloria napupuno ka ng grasya.
Ang kayamaanan ng tao ay sumaiyo na,
Bukod ka pinagpala sa babaeng lahat.
Pinagpala rin ang iyong angkan. Wala nang natira sa

unconditional love - affection with no limits or conditions; complete love
to be able to love unconditionally is really hard. one may say that he loves unconditionally but unconsciously, he doesn't.
i am really confused here. sometimes we are told by people around us that we shouldn't give our all when we love and to always save some for ourselves. but if to love someone unconditionally is to love without limits, then why shouldn't we give our all?
i believe that when we love someone we accept that person for who he is. we accept his past, his present and his future. sometimes it is hard...it may sound surreal but for me that's how it really is. and finding someone who would love you in the same manner is a different story altogether.
i am blessed that i have people around me who loves me unconditionally. who understands and takes me for who i am. *hugs to all of you*
happiness - state of well-being characterized by emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.
is it really hard to say that "i am happy" in every sense of the word? for me YES. i have personally gone through a lot late last year up to early this year. and up to now i can't say i am "HAPPY and CONTENTED". i know i have a lot of things to do in order to achieve that. i can say i am happy...but in a way i can also say that i have something lacking still in some aspects of my life ( im not talking about just lovelife here...but life in general).
in the course of achieving the desired happiness, it becomes even harder because we try so hard to achieve it and you end up frustrated when you have exhausted all efforts to be happy.
but true happiness comes when you least expect it. it comes when you don't really exert much effort. it comes and goes and comes back again.
to live a happy life is hard because life is full of bumps that makes living exciting and difficult. at the same time the bumps we encounter in life makes us stronger and wiser. and when we get pass them...it makes the feeling of happiness super worth it.
...and what the hell am i talking about?
...and what is the connection of my heading with everything i have just blabbed about?
hmm..i just finished watching a diether-claudine-rico movie at cinema one. it was a nice movie, i must say. and claudine talked about unconditional love and trying so hard to be happy in the movie. and it made me think too.
basta! im happy (but i could be happier) and i love.

i can't wait for weekend...my work schedule for next week is really bad since i have seperate day off's--bad trip diba?
i have to finish a school paper, which i should actually be doing right now since we were sent to "training" but im so tamad to do it and i really don't know how to start with the report. and doing a school report at 5 in the morning is not really a fun thing to do.
i watched oprah two days ago and it was an episode of an interview with brooke shields, they discussed on how she had to struggle with postpartum depression. It is actually something very common to new mothers but here in the philippines, it is something that is ignored. some say it is something that will just pass, but actually it is something that shouldn't be ignored. it is actually very serious--nyikes sobrang nurse ang sound ko.
an office mate just told me that kris aquino and basketball james yap is already engaged--may upcomming movie ba si kris? (just asking!)
MICA...thank you! and happy weekend to everyone!

i loved carrie's performance on American Idol, and i totally agree with simon's coment that she has done everything to win the title. i just hope she does. i was teary eyed as she was singing "Angels Brought Me Here". i really hope she wins..i love her voice...i love the way she sings...Can't wait to watch tomorrows finals.
SPOILER ALERT: The Contender
Sergio Mora is THE CONTENDER! It was a unanimous decision and im happy that he won the fight. Im happy too that alfonso won the bronze match against jesse. Too bad though that anthony bosante lost to ishe smith on their "fan favorite" match-up. i would have wanted an ishe vs ahmed re-match. It's just sad i can't watch the fight on TV tonight because of work. I will have to wait for tomorrow afternoon's replay. ulalal, i just love boxing!
Blabbing
i have to prepare for friday's final exam fo product training. I got the schedule i like and i'm happy for that. From 25 trainees during accent we are now down to 20. 1 had to stop training because of health issues, atleast she could go back after she has been medically cleared. 2 of my co-trainees were not asked to join product training anymore and the other 2 were cut at the middle of the product training when they had a re-take of the communications exam and failed it. Out of the 20 trainess, only 5 will go on A-bay next week and the other 15 will go on an extended classroom training. I hope that all 20 of us would make it and be able to hit the floor. The exams, even if we take them with our notes and computers open are really hard especially since we take them on the last hour of the shift and by that time you are tired, sleepy and close to being brain dead already.
Kuya Mayo is getting married tomorrow. i won't be able to attend since the wedding will be in island cove in cavite and for obvious reasons, i can't miss work. Congrat's kuya mayo!
and could i just say this...i love my hair! i had a haircut yesterday because i got so sick of my long hair. i use too much shampoo and conditioner...my hair takes so long to dry...i have had my hair long for more than two years already and i wanted to look different. now i have shoulder length layered hair-do (as if, i had a really make over) and i love it. it looked better yesterday but it looks nice also after i took a bath even if i didn't blow dry it, fan dry lang.
i miss my ibank officemates. hay...sometimes it is hard to move on even if you are equally happy with what you do now. i just got so used to my "old routine" that i miss it. i saw a client pa last sunday and she was asking on how i was, that she wants to move banks na because im not with ibank anymore but that she is happy for me. wha!! which reminds e, i have to call another client tomorrow because i was not able to say "goodbye" properly to her.
oh,life!

I never thought it was going to be very difficult..but it was. I am pretty much ok early on the shift but by 4am, 2 hours before shift is over i get REALLY sleepy and my eyes get really heavy (sasa: im so sleepy....my eyes are getting heavy...haha! i know you know what i mean here).
After my shift saturday morning, i went straight home took an hour nap and then took a quick bath and i went to school. I was out the whole day, went home around 7PM. We had family (tito's, tita's, cousins) dinner that evening with uberly delicious lechon from dumaguete and i was up until 12 midnight. By 12 midnight, i really could not take it anymore. i went to my room even if my cousins were still in the garden ( sorry guys, i was very sleepy and tired na talaga) and hit my bed. i was thinking, just a few minutes and then i will get up again to take a shower. lo and behold, when i woke up it was 6am already. this was the first time i slept in my jeans and a shirt i wore the whole day ( yuck, i know). when i woke up, i took a shower and then hit the bed again. i was in sleep mode up to 9:30. when i woke up, everyone was dressed already and they were ready to go to greenhills. wha! i would never miss a trip to greenhills. so i took a bath (again!) and then in 15 mins i was ready for a trip to tiangge land! im so proud of myself. i wanted to buy so many things...skirts, shirts, flip flops, bags accessories and kung anik2 but due to budget constraints, i had to content myself with just looking and i ended up not falling into temptation--i didn't buy anything! i know in a month i can go shopping na ulit. i will just have to wait...and when that time comes na--i'll hit the shops like crazy!
im happy...MSO and i will be working for the same company. he start's training tom. hopefully, we get to go to the office at the same time and get to go home at the same time also. coolness!
and to my surprise, i

Since november, i haven't been eating rice and i swear i have lost weight. i know that my diet is not at all healthy but it worked for me. the thing is, now that i have started working on ungodly hours, i have decided to start eating rice again for lunch (since i don't get to eat breakfast). i really would want to maintain my weight now but i know i have to eat rice again since i am not getting enough sleep anymore. of course i get to sleep when i get home but it is still different when you get to sleep at night. i really hope not to gain all the lost weight back.
So far, i honestly am enjoying work. i am enjoying the company of my co-trainees and i have been learning a lot the past two days. i am really glad that i am not having a hard time keeping myself awake. i usually feel sleepy aroung 4am but all in all i think i am coping well. It is just hard since we have exams every day right before going home and for every exam you are allowed to only make one mistake. I hope though, i get pass training and abay. i hope to be hitting the floor by mid june. can't wait...can't wait.

im glad that uchenna and joyce won the amazing race 7--it was one crazy race!
im rooting for vonzel on american idol...i honestly don't like bo bice.
im sad i can't watch contender tonight...thank God for replay's.
hay, in three hours i should be in the office. this is going to be my first time to work in a night shift and i really don't know if i can survive the shift without falling asleep. i will be missing my bed and pillows for tonight but im looking forward to being reunited with them tomorrow morning *hehehehe*. THIS IS IT!
May 15, 2005
i have been very busy with both school and adjusting with my new work. for the past two weeks i have been waking up very early because my shift starts at 6am. eventhough i have to wake up early im really fine with it because i get to go home early also. we had our accent exams last friday, and since i didn't get a call over the weekend...it means i passed the accent training *yehey*!
my new work is very interesting and i cant wait for training to finish. so far i am having FUN with my co-trainees. i really hope i made the right decision of making this big move.
even with my crazy schedule, im happy that i still get to spend time with MSO. i am very thankful also that he supports me in everything that i do. he surely is making things a lot easier for me, because he advises me on what to expect and what to do. hay, feels so good to be with someone whom you know will be with you through good and bad times.
i had a very difficult time last april career wise but i know that things happen for a reason. i learned a lot from everything that i have been through. it wasn't easy but i thank God for the people whom he sent to be with me. i thank God also for how He has guided me in everything that i do. for how He has been my comfort and my strength. He has always been with me, and He has never failed me.
my dear cousins, lets get together...swimming party at mica's condo!

to my nanay...i know that you are at peace wherever you are. thanks you for everything and for showering us with love. i miss you, nanay. and i will always be your "angel" apo.
to mommy...thank you will never be enough for everything you have given not just me but also my sisters. i know that i have not been a good daughter...that i have done things that have hurt you but you have still been there for me. this place is a much better place to live in because of you and daddy. thank you for always bringing me to work...for driving me around...for giving me things i like, want and need...but more so, thank you for your love. i love you.

1. diner dash - a yahoo game i read on yax's blog last week. i installed it yesterday. played one full hour and it was super fun.
2. poker superstar deluxe - been watching this on TV. MSO told me that yahoo games has it. downloaded it and it is now a fave past time. how i wish the earnings in this game is for real. just the earnings.
3.six questions - MSO introduced it to me. he is addicted to it. it is very educational though because of the many things you learn. i hope we (me & MSO) gets to exchange points for an item really soon.

yep! 6AM--i am now with a new industry. i have been very busy the last week in getting everything ready for this new job. after 4 years, i am leaving ibank. it is sad because i am not only leaving work but i am leaving friends and clients who have become so much a part of me. but this is life. and i have to make this move. i have to take chances and welcome changes. hopefully, this is a right move. i prayed that God give me this job if it was really for me and in 3 days, i got the job.
starting tomorrow i will be working for RMH Teleservices Asia Pacific,Inc. it is a call center and office is in ELJ communications center (abs-cbn compound). work will be something new and i have to admit that i am excited but at the same time scared. i am looking forward to being with new people, the environment would be very different, work hours will be very weird, and work even though it is customer service will be different in a way also. the next 5 weeks will be training and i'm looking forward to learning new things. it really felt weird last friday as i was filling up forms for submission because one of the forms i had to fill up was an account opening form of ibank for our payroll. nyikes! used to process those forms but now i can't anymore.
i pray that things work out to my advantage. 4 years with ibank is no joke, so i am taking this new job as a challenge. hopefully as i hit the floor, i will be ready for my work schedule ( which i expect is graveyard) and that it would not interfere with my schedule at school.
speaking of school, community duty starts this week and it is something i am looking forward too. can't wait to wear my uniform! hehehehe.....
nyikes, i really have to sleep now or else i will be sleepy the whole day.

.::i have to start on my assignment which is due on saturday. i had the entire week to do it, but as usual i haven't even started on it. why can i be so lazy?!?!?
.::i wonder if quezon city hall is later. i need to have some documents processed and i am not sure if they are open because of the 4 day work week schedule of government offices.
.::it's past midnight and i wonder where MSO is....

on american idol...
i don't know how AMERICA is voting, but for me 2 contestants (anwar and nadia) who have been voted out already deserve a spot in AI. how i wish i could vote...wishful thinking.
on survivors palau...
stephenie deserves to be ulitmate survivor, i hope she doesn't get voted out next week. she is the sole survivor of the ulong tribe. girl power! galing!
on amazing race 7...
final 3 for me would be rob and amber, merdith and gretchen and uchenna and joyce (who willingly shaved her hair for the fast forward). i read on the internet that amazing race 8 would ba a family edition. that should be exciting.
aside from the above mentioned reality tv shows, i love watching the contender ( i have been fond of boxing and wrestling even as a kid), starting over, the bachelor, america's next top model, temptation island, the apprentice, the simple life, queer eye, the casino and kung anu-ano pa. am i addicted to reality TV shows or huwat!
i better catch some zzzz i have to be at school by 8am....
happy weekend all!
I never lost the love that I have given you
With all the things that we have all been through
I’ve never stayed in love before
As much as I have stayed in love with you
You, you never thought the feelings
Meant for you were true
‘coz everytime we’re all alone you wonder
If I’ll really never change
And if I’ll really stay in love with you
Love, it needs just you and me to stay together
Even if there’s nothing more
The best is there forever
Love, we have to stay this way in love forever
Even if you change your ways
I’ll always stay this way
‘coz I, I will always stay this way in love with you
I will always stay this way in love with you
I will always stay this way in love with you
You, you never thought the feeling
Meant for you were true
‘coz everytime we’re all alone you wonder
If I’ll really never change
And if I’ll really stay in love with you
Love…
It needs just you and me to stay together
Even if there’s nothing more
The best is there forever
Love…
We have to stay this way in love forever
Even if you change your ways
I’ll always stay this way
‘coz I, I will always stay this way in love with you
I will always stay this way in love with you
She says: Someone Like you
There’s a wind that blows
It’s calling your name
And its speaks to me again and again
Telling me go to him
Don’t let him go
Hold him close to you
Then you will know
The meaning of love
Exactly what is all about
The feeling that I get when I can’t forget
Everything that makes me want to
That’s how deep it goes
All I really know is that I love you so
And if it’s the only thing I ever do
Then I know it’s true
That I should love someone like you
Someone who believes in me
Makes my voice to sing with a heart so free
As sure as I can be
For me if one dream can come true
Then I will love someone like you
In your eyes I see
A life that could mean so much more
With you next to me
And if time is cruel
Well I won’t try to hide
I could walk through fire
With you by my side
Cause after all if we want forever
There’s a hand to hold through the sad and cold
When nobody wants to know you
So never let it go
And you’ll never be alone
Knowing that I love you so
And if it’s the only thing I ever do
Then I know it’s true
That I should love someone like you
Someone who believes in me
Makes my voice to sing with a heart so free
As sure as I can be
For me if one dream can come true
Then I will love someone like you
So never let it go
And you’ll never be alone
Knowing that I love you so
And if it’s the only thing, the only thing I ever do
Then I know it’s true
That I should love someone like you
Someone who believes in me
Makes my voice to sing with a heart so free
As sure as I can be
For me if one dream can come true
Then I will love someone like you
Then I should love someone like you

im back! the bacolod trip was of course to say goodbye to manang melo but it was also a time to see my dear relatives again. a short recap of my trip...
Day 1
-- At 3:30 am, My significant other (MSO) brought me and mommy to the airport.
-- We got to check-in 20 mins before the scheduled flight because of the mossimo beach bodies contestants that were blocking the entrance of the airport.
-- Arrived bacolod at 6AM, was picked up by toto (salamat for being the official taga sundo and taga hatid!) went to his house to see andy (very cute baby) and then mom and i went to victorias.
-- Woke up sassa as soon as i we got there. Said a short prayer for manang melo. had a medyo madramang moment with the rest of the family and then had breakfast. The rest of the morning was spent playing cards and tulud-tulud.
-- A few minutes before lunch, other relatives from manila arrived.
-- After lunch, with borgy and sassa we went to don bosco in search for a priest for the late afternoon mass in the house. no priest was available since it was a sunday and it was such a short notice.
-- We then went to Lopuez, the biggest mall in victorias city which was about 15 minutes drive (tama ba?) to buy paper plates, straws and coke light (tama pala ako when i told MSO the previous night over dinner that i should bring coke light kasi baka malayo ang bilihan).
-- After we got back to the house, i was so sleepy as i only had an hour of sleep so it was nap time for me.
-- Woke up at around 4PM, went outside the room to check on what everyone was doing and what we were eating for merienda. hehehe...
-- Played with alec and had a taste of Tita A's homemade banana chips which were really yummy.
-- As my other cousins went to mass at 6PM in the cathedral, i took the chance to freshen up and prepare for the very long evening ahead.
-- After dinner, friends started to arrive. helped entertain and serve food. it was also a chance to see manang cecil and manong toto whom i have not seen for a very long time. my mom was also able to see her classmate from highschool. it was funny listening to them exchange stories of their high school life.
-- Manang Cecil tried to teach me how to play majong but failed as i still don't know how to play.
-- Called it a day at 2AM.
Day 2
-- Woke up at 7:30AM! Got a message from MSO that made me upset but talking to him compensated for it. in short, bati din kami agad. hehehe!
-- By 9AM, we (me,sassa, tita sol, bgurl, manang cecille, manong toto and manang Ginjon) were on our way to bacolod to buy some stuff and to book my ticket back to manila.
-- We were back to victorias by 1PM. The whole afternoon was spent watching my tito's and tita's play majong while eating butong pakwan. ha!
-- Got tired watching them play and eating butong pakwan and so we decided to go to the golf course. I can't even remember the last time i went there but the place is not like before. The tennis court is now a talahiban and they don't have the bowling alley anymore. Atleast, they were able to maintain the golf course.
-- A trip to victorias/bacolod will never be complete without INASAL! even ifthey had prepared dinner in the house, we still bought inasal. inasal costs 40 per stick only. equivalent to a quarter size chicken. sobrang mura and super delish! i can eat inasal everyday!
-- Manang poly , the family's manicurista and pedicurista went to tita in's house so i had my pedicure for only Php30.00 with nail polish pa. who would not want to live in bacolod?
-- Soon after, friends started coming again. It was the last night of the wake kaya it was a very busy night. I met a lot of tito's and tita's ( friends of my mom or that of my uncles and aunties).
-- The entire evening was spent sharing stories and eating.
-- My day ended a few minutes before 3AM.
Day 3
-- Woke up at 5:45AM. Took a bath immediately and prepared for the burial. Mass was scheduled at 8:30AM.
-- Convoy left the house at exactly 8AM, we got to the cemetery after a few minutes. When we got there, the mood immediately changed.
-- After the burial, we stayed for another hour. And then we went back to tita sol's house for lunch.
-- Left victorias at 1PM for bacolod.
And now, I am back in manila. happy din kasi i was able to see and spend time with MSO. But as i go back to manila, i have to deal with a lot of things again. I promise to post pictures hopefully by tom.

since she had that second attack last year, she has been on a persistent vegetative state just like Teri Schiavo. But unlike Teri, we have all fought the battle with manang melo. We have been all hopeful and prayerful that God will continue to make a miracle in her life. We all prayed that one day, she will rise up from her bed and be the same old manang melo.
i have seen what a fighter manang melo is. i know how determined she was to have the open heart surgery. our endless trips to heart center's charity department. her joy when a rotary club sponsored her operation. i was with her when a few days before her scheduled operation, we almost lost her. i was there when she was brought to the operating room. i was outside the ICU of the heart center everyday after the operation. i was there when she was finally sent home by the doctors. i saw how determined she is to live for manong zaldy and for her childern. how disciplined she was with regards to her eating habits and exercise.
i know she has fought until the end. i know that she has even tried to bargain with God to let her stay a little more longer only to prepare us, her loved ones.
i know God has prepared a better place for you in heaven manang melo. a place where you will no longer need a NGT, an oxygen, an IV or even a nurse. A place where you can freely move. It is indeed time for you to rest, a time for you to go.
i promise to look over bgurl and borgy just like how you looked over me. i promise to treat them just how you have treated me--just like your own daughter. Thank you for all the wonderful summer vacations in victorias. thank you for always taking time off every time i take a vacation just to bring me around. thank you for always listening to me and for being the cool and wonderful tita that you are. thank you for fighting and for being strong. Rest now and enjoy the party God has prepared for you in heaven, manang melo. we love you and we will surely miss you. Give our love to wowo and wawa. And as what everyone says, no goodbyes just see you soon.

friday:
work (as usual) and then school for attendance lang. i then went to marina with my schoolmate rogie to have dinner and for a few drinks. we are scheduled to go out again on tuesday with out teacher after our final exam.
after dinner we went to terriyaki boy to buy california maki and then she dropped me off at MB's house. i had to do some school related stuf.
was home by 1am and i wasn't able to review for an exam anymore because i left my books at rogie's car.
saturday:
i was at school at exactly 10am because i knew we were having an exam before the return demonstration for physical assesment. after the exam only one of my groupmates were able to perform the assesment and then it was lunch break.
we had lunch at max and i will surely miss saturday lunch with my classmates. it is something we all look forward too, and yesterday was my last lunch with them since the semester is over. and i have plans of transferring schools by summer semester.
we were back at school by 1:30 and it was my turn to do the return demo for physical assesment. i really requested that i be second since i had to go home early because we were going to clark to meet my dad's golfing buddies.
by 5:30pm we were on our way to mimosa already. it took us only an hour to get there and went straight to the villa's where we were to stay. the villa's were nice, but the villa's they have in subic are bigger.
8:30 was dinner at four season's restaurant, it was fun and food was really great. i had a few drinks after and before midnight we went back to villa. i was in bed before 2am thus, even if i brought my anatomy book with me, i still was not able to read. B-A-D!
sunday:
breakfast was at mc donald's and then we went to puregold to do some shopping. i was able to buy ready made oreo and nabisco crust which were on sale (very cheap!).
we then went back to the vila to rest, watch TV and to simply BUM around.
at 12 noon, it was time to eat lunch. lunch was alimango and shrimps plus chicharon. i had to skip my usually diet of no rice! it was one of the best lunches i have had.
my dad and his golfing buddies finished playing before 4pm and by 4:30 we were on our way back to manila. i took some nice pictures (promise nice talaga) and i will post it hopefully by tom. i used the manual mode of my camera and the pictures turned out to be really nice. i have yet to show them to the picture guru but i know he will like it too.
it was great to be able to have a break from all the huslte and bustle of the metropolis. i have to read my anatomy book tonight...i have...i have! hope your weekend was as peaceful and relaxing as mine.

is it time for a change? is it time to finally move on...maybe im just here because i am so used to it already that i don't want change. maybe the happiness i used to feel is not there anymore.the feeling of fulfillment is missing. that i am just here for the sake of doing something. that maybe this is not where i am suppose to be. that something out there is waiting for me.

true what they say that when something is taken from you, God gives you something better. in exchange for my lost phone, my group and i got an exemption in my health care class *YEHEY!* atleast i don't have to worry about studying for the final exam. im hoping to get an exemption in my nutrition class as well. if i get that exemption all i have to worry about is my anatomy class and my RLE class.
the semester is ending in a week. it was a good one...but a tough one in terms of things to do and things to study.

a pleasant day
*woke up at 8am and called sassy ( took advantage of PLDT's 10 peso per call charge) and kwentuhan muna tungkol sa mga buhay-buhay. it was nice talking to you my sassy girl!
*went to linao with emma, judy, paul and edsel to do interview of 5 families for my health care class. it was a fun and a very humbling experience.
*had lunch with them at han pao.
*edsel and i went back to my house to rest and wait for popsie's arrival (welcome home!). my pop's phone is so cool. now i want a new phone...but i can't. i cannot afford a new one right now.
*edsel and i went to the barangay hall to take pictures of the place and lucky us, the barangay captain was there and was able to assist me with the other things i need for our report.
*we then went to look for someone who could transfer the video we took to a cd but the one we saw was too expensive. edsel would be the one to transfer it na lang using the data cable we got from Pastor James and he (with my help, hehehehe!) will edit the video (ang bait!)
*we went to market-market to meet up with my family for dinner. we had the film processed and the pictures for me were nice na, but for edsel the quality of the printing was not nice (super perfectionist when it comes to pictures!).
*went to gonuts to buy donuts...
now i am home blogging/blabbing...it was a very tiring day and i have to go to school tomorrow (but i am tinatamad as of now). i still have a lot of things to do especially with the project that is due on monday. hopefully, we (edsel and i) get to finish with the editing by sunday.
signing off....

happy days are here again
i don't have school for the next 3 days because of kester grant's first ever sports fest. plus, it is a holiday on friday. pure bliss ahead!
i can't wait for february to end and for march to start--hopefully things will be less stressful. a lot more decisions are to be made but im just looking forward to greater and brighter things ahead.
but i have to admit, that inspite of all the trials GOD has truly been faithful and present in my life. He has helped me restore relationships, He has guided me in everything i do, He has given me wisdom and encouragement and He has given me people to help me through.
i promise to be posting more "happy" things the coming days, weeks and months...
truly, life is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!

Character
Discipline keeps you going
Character helps you finish well
as i go back to work tomorrow and face the realities of life, i was reminded today that my reputation is not at all important. this is only how other people see me. what is more imporatant is my character because this is what God sees in me. And that character is revealed in the midst of trials and crisis.
Blessed week to us all and till my next post....
TO ALL THE SINGLE LADIES:Seven Tests To Do Before Marrying Your BF's
1. Watch him drive in heavy traffic
-this activity should test his temper...atleast you would get to know how he is when he is mad...
2. Play s sport with him.
-you will get to know on how he will treat you in good times (winning moments) and bad times (pag natalo ang ginebra).
3. Listen to him talk to his mother (or brother or sister) when he doesn't know you are listening.
-this would probably be the way he would be talking to you when you get married. wala nang pa cute at pa sweet.
4. See how he treats those who serve him.
-how he treats the maid, driver, waiters, etc. tandaan, ikaw ang future na magsisilbi sa kanya!
5. Notice on what he is willing to spend his money on.
-very important because you will know on what his priorities would be.
6. Look at his friends.
-tell me who your friends are and i will tell you who you are...
7. See how he reacts to criticism.
-after you guys get married, you will be his biggest critic kaya yngat lang.
i don't know if i made sense with what i just posted...but i just find it very helpful in picking you lifetime partner. Goodluck na lang sa atin!
welcome to the club
atleast now i could tell friends or relatives asking on how she is doing in the states to just visit her site. hehehe....ang tamad ko din naman.

26th
my birthday this year is very diffrent from the birthday's i have had in the past. this year after 8 years of always having a party, i decided not to have one. for the first time since i started working, i went to the office on my birthday and i went to school pa. i slept early too...
friends were asking me when the party will be but, i didn't and don't really feel like having one. i feel like their is no need for a celebration...and just like any other day the 20th of january will just pass. and it did just pass.

home again
and in just two years, she is HOME again--for a vacation. she was suppose to arrive at 10:30pm friday so we (the barkada) were tasked to meet her at the airport because her coming home was a surprise for her family. but due to medical emergencies, the plane had to make an emergency landing at canada. in short, the 24 hour trip home took 32 hours.
plane landed before 7am saturday. we were at the airport as early as 5am! but the wait was worth it. it was so nice to see her and be with my friends. we made a short stop at starbucks emerald before going to her house.
we were all excited as we neared her house, i was tasked to take pictures BUT i was not able to do so. we all started crying as she hugged her dad and her sister. too bad, only one sister was home at that time. after a few minutes, we went home na bec i had school and of course para mag bonding muna sila ng family nya.
i will be seeing you in the coming days. welcome home, ivy!

Press On!
i had a nice, ok super nice dream last night but unlike sassy i won't be sharing it here para magkatotoo!
the week ahead is busy, as usual. i have tons of things to do for school meaning watching ocean's twelve is out of the picture right now. sana lang i won't be tamad the whole week to finish whatever i have to do and to read whatever i have to read. it's unfair that teachers give us so much things to do, di ba nila naisip na working students kami. meaning we don't have as much free time as the full time students have.
weekend was so-so. went to tutuban (yeyey!) yesterday with mommy and bheng. bought a shirt lang and tela for a top i will be wearing for kiboy's wedding.
the highlight of the weekend was having the chance to talk to mimi for i guess an hour. sobrang daldal namin! she shared stories of her life in the states and im just really happy for her because she is starting to make all her dreams come true. i miss her but i guess she is in a better place right now where a lot of oppurtunities are open for her unlike here.
it's 7:30 in my watch and i really have to prepare for work na or else my mom will kill me (exagge!) kasi ma late nanaman kmi. im praying that the week ahead will be a good one for me and for you reading this.
Philippians 3:13-14: Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
I whine too much and I know i should just be greatful for every blessing i receive. BIG or small. This verse has become my verse for the year. With this verse, i am assured that THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

it's not yet over
i received during the holiday's a christmas card na tumutunog when you open, ang cute!
i should get back to finishing the report. i want to watch ocean's 12!

God's grace is sufficient
not so happy together
after the movie, with the north park take out food we bought. we all went back to the hotel suite where the pagtakhan's are staying for the night. kaya kahit hindi happy ang movie, kmi naman ay happy. too bad i didn't have my camera with me. hopefully mag upload si pashy so i could post our pictures also.
so,the first day of the new year was not as bad as i expected (thank God!).
2005!
so here was what we did at ayala ave....
and then back at the condo....it was videoke time!
it was a fun night...i may not be "happy" that night, but you guys surely made it FUN!

friends, the quake, no work and the new year
i don't want to know the updated death toll anymore of the tsunami that hit southeast asia. it is so depressing and im just really thankful that it didn't hit the philippines. pero funny what my cousin told me. nakakulong na daw si tsunami, kasi madami pinatay. kung pwede nga lang sya ikulong diba?
im sad because in 2 days, the long weekend is over and it's back to reality--back to school and work. i still have a lot of chapters to read in anatomy plus i have to prepare our group presentation for my rle class and i have to study for a test for my health care class. PLUS, midterms will be this January. tapos i have work pa. promise, i don't want to even think about this!
in less than 7 hours, goodbye 2004 na and welcome 2005. 2004 was not a good year for me...i think. it was a hard year emotionally (roller coaster ride of my life). 2004 was also a year a lot of decisions were made. 2004 was the year manang melo had her stroke, maid of mama grace committed a suicide, the philippines presidential election and tita tess died but this year also brought me to boracay, duamguete and bacolod. yun lang ata ang good. hehehe...but this year i became closer to God with everything i had to go through (good din ito!). it's sad to think lang, that i had to go through all this to be closer to Him. i am glad 2004 is coming to an end. and i am praying that 2005 will be a better year. not just for me but for everyone.
and as i close my last blog for the year...
Let us welcome 2005 with joy and hope in our hearts amidst the tragedies happening everywhere.
Let us not forget to thank God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us.
Let us continue to pray that love will reign in everyone,
Peace and comfort to those who are grieving.
And that our hearts be filled with hope and that the His light shine through the dark.
Blessed new year to all!
