MY CHRISTMAS PRAYER

heard this song sa OPRAH and i super liked it.

I pray for peace
Blessings and honor
Heaven right earth's despair
This is my Christmas prayer

For those that grieve
God will bring comfort
Laughter will rapture there
This is my Christams prayer

See I pray that love will rule and reign
And I pray that time will rid the pain of this world
As we learn to trust and care
This is my Christmas prayer

I pray for you (Yes I know you do)
That your triupmh and conquer
Poses the strength you need to bare
This is my Christmas prayer

For those in need
There would be plenty
And each other's burdens share
Oh, this is my Christmas prayer

See I pray that love will rule and reign
And I pray that time will rid the pain of this world
As we learn to trust and care
This is my Christmas prayer, Oh

So let hope fill our hearts (Let's let hope fill our hearts)
Shine the light through the dark
All around the world
And everywhere
I will pray
This Christmas prayer

See I pray that love will rule and reign
And I pray that time will rid the pain of this world
As we learn to trust and care
This is my Christmas
This is my Christmas prayer

See I pray that love will rule and reign
And I pray that time will rid the pain of this world
As we learn to trust and care
This is my Christmas prayer
This is my Christmas prayer

this song was song by bebe winans and rob thomas. i do pray that love will rule and reign. but i think my personal Christmas prayer has come true na *wink*
i was bored, had nothing to do, just finished with lunch of porkchop and sinigang na bangus. i was at my mom's room, thinking if i was going to sleep, head to the parlor for a haircut or go to my room and finish the book i was reading. as i was changing channels, i chanced upon OPRAH.

i decided to watch and oprah was talking about how much she loved teachers and that her audience for that day was filled with teachers from all over. and then she announced that the episode for the day was a tribute to them for their hard work (how true!) and that the day's episode was special because it was "Oprah's Favorite Things" and then the crowd went WILD! wild as in cheering, crying, jumping, and hugging. pati nga ako na was cheering.

and then the gift giving started, merong burberry na jacket, flat screen na super slim 30 inches TV (this i want), a lipstick set, cardigan and drawstring pants, top of the line dryer and washer with a drying cabinet (super cool-sarap siguro mag laba pag ganito), bubble bath set, nice champagne glasses, a bag that was really cute, a 3 days 2 night stay at a resort and spa in arizona all for free plus they could bring a friend pa, but what i super want from what she gave away was the sony vios notebook and the $500 gift certificate from office max--ang daming pens and post it pads nun! aside from what i metnioned, alot of other things were given away.

i think the teachers super deserve it, and how i wish we had a show here that would give credit if not such gifts to our teachers. they do need recognition and they desreve it naman talaga. true what one of the teachers in the show said that teaching is not for the money, but for the love of the children.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.

They don’t know
That I come running home when I fall down
They don’t know
Who picks me up when no one is around
I drop my sword and cry for just a while
Cuz deep inside this armor
The warrior is a child

Unafraid because his armor is the best
But even soldiers need a quiet place to rest
People say that I’m amazing
I never face retreat
But they don’t see the enemies
That lay me at his feet

we have had a "Christmas tradition" and i have lost count on how many years we have been doing it, but this year we broke the tradition. My mom, ate, borgy and i with the amelia's angels were suppose to go here for rest and recreation but when i woke up this morning, my mom said she was tamad to drive and so we decided not to go anymore.

so, Christmas day for me was...sleep, sleep again, dinner at kaya and then sleep again. it was time to make up for all the puyat i have been doing. and right now i could still use a few more hours of sleep.

this years Christmas was different, i believe this is my saddest Christmas to date. i know i shouldn't be sad because Christmas is a time of Celebration but i guess as much as i try to divert my mind to "happy things" it didn't really last long and i was always going back to thinking "sad things". i guess i could never really deny the emptiness and confusion i am feeling right now.

but, life goes on. all the presents have been opened, all the kids are happy with the gifts they got, no more food in the table but alot of leftover food in the fridge and since life is a cycle Christmas na ulit in 364 days. till next Christmas...

Dec 24, 2004

amidst the hustle and bustle of the season, we may all be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas. MERRY CHRSITMAS!

The King is Dead....

the king of philippine movies died a few days ago. A lot has been said already but i do agree that he is an institution in the industry ( ang showbiz ko!). I don't watch his movies so that does not make me a fan and i didn't support him last elections but i would still like to go to Sto Domingo. ha! So PINOY!

Ang Pasko ay Sasapit....

A little over a week before christmas...im so looking forward to school break...i WANT to go to tutuban (anyone who wants to go with me?)...i received a few gifts already...i have yet to go Christmas shopping...i have gone to 2 Christmas parties...but i still don't feel CHRISTMASSY (may ganun ba na word?).

Cubao Adventure....

i went to cubao yesterday to refund tito moxy's air philippines plane ticket and i was so shocked kasi in fairness ang ganda na ng cubao. PWAMIS! PLUS--i was able to renew my driver's license sa farmers mall in less than an hour. I vow to be driving by next year!

Kester Christmas Party....

tonight was the first ever kester christmas party and kudos to the organizer's bec it was a nice party. it could have been better but for the limited time and resources, it was much more than what i expected. going to the party was all worth it. Pero wholesome the party...wala beer, hehehe! i will try to post pictures over the weekend. try lang because i could be so tamad.

Pwede ba mag Drama????

i was so touched with GMA 7's interview with the Grandson of FPJ. He said he advised FPJ during the campaign early this year not to make promises he will not fulfill. It is so true not only in campaigning but life in general. we sometimes tend to make promises or tell people things we don't really mean. i know, i too commit the same mistakes. tao lang naman. i know how betrayed or hurt a person could feel--it could hurt that it makes you mad. it hurts that sometimes you think that you would want to get back at that person. it hurts that you regret hearing those words. but i have recently realized that hurting is part of life and so is healing. It is not easy and walang easy way to do it. it is not something that you can learn everyday nor is there a step-by-step way of doing it. it is hard but you don't really have a choice. My healing has brought me closer to God. When i feel alone and lonely i just talk to Him and even if He is not beside me i feel His comfort. i thank Him because He is a BIG GOD. Big enough to carry me through...

Dec 11, 2004

yesterday was ibank center six christmas party at tivoli royale and it was FUN! it was nice to see friends from the other branches, and see them perform. too bad di kami nanalo sa Christmas presentation, but i guess what was important that the practices we had as a branch made us closer.

PAYANIG SA BANIG

with chicken bbque, sizzling pusit (kuno), hot and spicy nagaraya, orange oishi potato chips and of course the ultimate favorite RHB we watched the manny paquiao-3K bout on tv. ha! buti na lang wala ako pambili ng tickets kasi 4th round pa lang tapos na. galing ng pinoy..proud to be a FILIPINO!

Dec 8, 2004

i got this from mica and it is really beautiful...perfect for me and i guess for a lot of other people who have to close cycles and open a new one.
yes..to all my friends and relatives im closing a cycle. ending the tears and FINALLY moving on with my life. it would be difficult but i would not be answering any questions about this moving on or even with what has happened. i have a lot of other things to look forward to and like everybody else i do have a life.
my thank you to all those who have been with me through this tough times...my drinking buddies...my closing cycles doesn't mean no more drinking though. i could never payback but now i know who my true friends are.

Closing Cycles
by:Paolo Coelho
One always has to know when a stage comes to an end. If we insist on staying
longer than the necessary time, we lose the happiness and the meaning of the
other stages we have to go through. Closing cycles, shutting doors, ending
chapters whatever name we give it, what matters is to leave in the past the
moments of life that have finished. Did you lose your job? Has a loving
relationship come to an end? Did you leave your parents' house? Gone to live
abroad? Has a long-lasting friendship ended all of a sudden? You can spend a
long time wondering why this has happened. You can tell yourself you won't
take another step until you find out why certain things that were so
important and so solid in your life have turned into dust, just like that.
But such an attitude will be awfully stressing for everyone involved: your
parents, your husband or wife, your friends, your children, your sister,
everyone will be finishing chapters, turning over new leaves, getting on
with life, and they will all feel bad seeing you at a standstill.None of us
can be in the present and the past at the same time, not even when we try to
understand the things that happen to us. What has passed will not return: we
cannot for ever be children, late adolescents, sons that feel guilt or rancor
towards our parents, lovers who day and night relive an affair with someone
who has gone away and has not the least intention of coming back. Things
pass, and the best we can do is to let them really go away. That is why it
is so important (however painful it maybe!) to destroy souvenirs, move, give
lots of things away to orphanages, sell or donate the books you have at
home. Everything in this visible world is a manifestation of the invisible
world, of what is going on in our hearts and getting rid of certain memories
also means making some room for other memories to take their place. Let
things go. Release them. Detach yourself from them. Nobody plays this life
with marked cards, so sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. Do not expect
anything in return, do not expect your efforts to be appreciated, your
genius to be discovered, your love to be understood.Stop turning on your
emotional television to watch the same program over and over again, the one
that shows how much you suffered from a certain loss: that is only poisoning
you, nothing else. Nothing is more dangerous than not accepting love
relationships that are broken off, work that is promised but there is no
starting date, decisions that are always put off waiting for the ideal
moment. Before a new chapter is begun, the old one has to be finished: tell
yourself that what has passed will never come back. Remember that there was
a time when you could live without that thing or that person nothing is
irreplaceable, a habit is not a need. This may sound so obvious, it may even
be difficult, but it is very important. Closing cycles. Not because of
pride, incapacity or arrogance, but simply because that no longer fits your
life. Shut the door, change the record, clean the house, shake off the dust.
Stop being who you were, and change into who you are.
i have asked God for a sign...but He didn't just give me a sign, pati si God binatukan na ako. I thank Him because inspite of everything i have been doing He is my comforter and my strength. I thank God for friends who were willing to spend time with me...to help me through everything i am going through.

i have a long journey...a long battle to fight but with God as my armor how could i lose. i now pray for His will...for continued strength, for guidance, for more comfort and for understanding.

i want to blog but im so distracted with a lot of things. it has been a while since my last entry and a lot of things has happened already and i can't seem to remember anything. epekto ata ito ng RHB!
i miss mimi and sassa...i guess kung andito silang dalawa, na alog na ng husto ang utak ko sa kakabatok nila sa akin.
i know i have other things to worry about...like anatomy...that i haven't started my Christmas shopping yet...that i still have nothing to wear for the christmas party...that i don't know how to get a person's blood pressure and we have a return demonstration on saturday...the 50 items exam on saturday and knowing that i won't be able to study for that since we have a christmas party on friday...that the comming week will be uberly hectic...that i haven't wrapped the gifts for clients...that a week before christmas will be prelims...and finally the thing that bothers me the most and makes me sad the most is........
but like what one of my friends told me, i have to bring out the kid in me...masaya dapat ang Christmas. it is indeed a season of celebration.
i hate this roller coaster ride of my life...dapat na ata akong bumababa dito. someone please teach me how.

vacation mode

in a few minutes we will be leaving for the airport to catch our 12:35 flight to dumaguete. i have always looked forward to this trip, it was actually more than a year already that the family planned this trip but im not that excited anymore to leave. This morning i received an email and was touched by this message....

whatever happened may take out the excitement you felt
for the trip but at least you're in a new environment.
let yourself be distracted by God's creation.
God will heal you in time.

i sure hope i get distracted by God's creation and that God will heal me in time....thanks tems

for now adios...i will be missing manila and......

Oct 26, 2004

2 days before the vacation:

Oct 24, 2004

in four days im off to a week long vacation....im excited first, because i have never gone out of town for a very long time. Second is that im gonna be with family on this trip so im really looking forward to spending time with them.

during dinner amboy told us that he told his classmate anna right before dismissal last week na crush nya si anna...sinabihan na daw nya si anna ng i love you. hmmm....si amboy may anna...si nina may miguel...si amboy tatlo daw ang crush nya...i wonder, ang mga bata ba ngayon hindi na marunong maglaro? at a very young age alam na nila ang crush at love.

great week ahead to all!!

Oct 23, 2004

i thank God for the weekend...i thank God for it's saturday so that means i don't have work (except for the one hour seminar i attend at the head office this morning)...

it has been a pretty busy weekend so far. i had to go to makati for a seminar this morning and then cousin-in-law bok picked me up at 10am and then we went to the airport to meet my mom because we are meeting my cousins who are arriving from LA and we had to bring them to the domestic airport for them to catch the 12:40 flight to dumaguete. me,bok and my mom had to wait for tito peter's ( a family friend who works at the airport) call so we decide to just go to duty free. it was funny because when the security were asking for our passports bok told them that our companions were inside the shopping area already and we were looking for them. of course with that reason, the security allowed us to go inside. my mom and i wanted to buy a lot of things pero syempre we can't. we stayed there for 30 minutes and then finally we got a call to go to the airport na since my cousins were about to go out already. after meeting them we went straight to domestic airport. mom and i then had lunch at ichizen a japanese restaurant in banawe. when we got home, i asked mama san if she could go with me to my school. syempre la naman siya choice so we went to kester. my reason of going was to get a copy of my transcript and then bring the transcript to udmc. but when i got to school, they changed the class schedules and perfect na sya sa time schedule ko. meaning, i had no reason to transfer. kaya nag pa reserve na agad ako ng slot since i won't be able to go early on monday since i have work. in short semi-enrolled na ako for the next semester! woohoo...at least one less thing to worry before i go for a week long vacation.
armed with Php2,000 bheng and i went to greenhills to just look around...but i ended up buying the following:

1. capri pants Php300
2. floral skirt Php300
3. floral blouse Php250
4. sleeveless shirt Php99.95
5. pirated happy feet (ha!) Php250
6. white slip on Php200
7. head band Php40

after the tiring shopping we ate dinner at kenny rogers, rode the g-liner to go home pero pag baba namin ng sta mesa--nakita ko ang sm center point. since may pera pa ako na natira, di ako nagpapigil and i asked mama san na punta naman kmi ng sm! hahaha...mga shopaholic kami! there i was able to buy:

1. shorts Php199.95
2. stipes sleeveless Php99.00

now im home--buti na lang wala na kmi iba pang nakita na mall. and i have pa Php100.00 i really think i was able to buy good items.

a photo i took of some of the items i bought....

dumaguete,bacolod and boracay...HERE I COME!!!!

Oct 19, 2004

Oct 7, 2004

seems like i have to change schools next semester...i have been hearing good things about the "new school" plus they would be offering the subjects i need at a more convenient time. But, if i do transfer to this school, i would be having classes on saturday and sunday...argh!

i should be doing a paper..but i have been sleeping instead....patay kang bata ka!

a general was near the office this afternoon to check out on the construction of his bookstore. question: why did he have to have around 10 bodyguards with him? answer: duwag si general? patay nanaman ako!

pls pray for my aunt, tita pina. she suffered a mild stroke early this week.

it's important to eat the right food...to live healthy...and thank God for all the blessings we receive. Happy weekend to all!

OKTOBEERFEST

In a few days, october na which means:

examination week nanaman sa school--and first semester of nursing school is almost finished...and i thought i wouldn't survive but hey, i did! Hooray for me!

relatives from the US of A are arriving and im excited to see everyone again and to PHARTYYY!!!!

two months na lang, pasko na. it was exciting to see the "parols" along ortigas extension for sale na ulit. feeling ko kakaalis lang ng mga parol, ngayon they are back and im sure in the comming weeks mas dadami na yan.

i have to start thinking of a christmas give away na...something unique but cheap. wala ako budget this year because of all the gastos--i need sideline!!!!

at syempre pa, oktobeerfest na. YUN NA!

UAAP

i watched the games earlier and im happy that arwind santos got the MVP award (i really thought mac cardona was gonna get it) and that FEU won. With FEU's win, mas exciting ang next game....na hindi ko din naman mapapanood kasi may work and iskul.

i remember how much i enjoy watching the pba and how i adore purefood team. avid fan ako ni alvin patrimonio and jerry condinera. lagi ako pikon if san miguel would win over purefoods. if purefood team was not playing, ginebra ang team ko. the team i hate the most is alaska--up to now i still don't like that team. i enjoy PBA the most pag may awayan, ang war freak ko! buti na lang ngayon di na masyado. miss ko na din ang victorias at ang paglalaro namin ng basketball ng mga cousins ko--TWIN TOWER RULES!!! hehehe...may mga tagahanga pa naman kmi na mga kids na neighbor ng cousin ko. habang naglalaro kmi ng agawan buko, este basketball nakiki cheer din sila. memories....

LITTLE BLACK BOOK

i was able to watch 2 movies over the weekend. ok, 1 lang kasi ung Bourne Supremacy eh tinulugan ko lang sabi ni marc. little black book was a dvd i bought kay manong and the movie was nice..cute actually. sabi dun sa movie that as what john lennon said "life happens when one is busy making other plans". This is so true. sometimes, i plan so much that i miss on things that happen around me, it's true that i gotta live and stop planning. and that God has prepared surprises for me in this life. that even before i have asked for something, He knows already what i need and that before all the planning i have been making, God has planned my life already. tama ung song sa movie...nobody does it better.

Great week ahead to all!!!

SARI-SARI

why the title? i just can't think of anything....hehehehehe!

i remember how i gave our dogs their names (may their souls rest in peace). our first dog was named bakit dahil trip ko. he got killed because of cancer, so we had another dog and he was called ewan this was to answer for our first dogs name. but he had leukemia and left us too. our third dog was named ano dahil wala lang. but he had a myocardial infraction and had to leave earth too. if in the future, may mag bigay sa akin ng dog i have a name waiting for it already--PAKIALAM MO!

im super excited for the vacation im having in october. i do hope we get to finalize the trip already--BEACH here i come!!!

my officemate gave birth to a baby boy this afternoon after 30 hours of labor. weebee to SMIGOL!!!

Weekend with Ate V and Veh!

to my cousins from mom's side.....we had loads of fun but we missed you guys!!!!

it was a wonderful time to be able to just relax....have nothing to worry about but the sun. enjoy the nice sound of the water, enjoy each others company, and enjoy the yummy food prepared by yashy and company.

we got to batangas at 4 in the afternoon saturday, travel took so long because of the stops we had to make, stop at mc do to eat and stop at fiesta mall ( a mall in lipa) to buy medicine. but the waiting to get to the beach was all worth it.

we had a "bangka" ride with the kids just before sunset, which was nice because there was no more sun and the wind was cool already.

the night was spent sharing stories, eating, listening to kuya louie sing, walking by the beach, sawayin ang mga batang makukulit ( talaga naman, ang kukulit!), watch the koreans dance in the sand without music (di kaya culto yun?!?!?) syempre pa andyan ang picturan and finally by midnight--SLEEP!

it was so fun, even the travel back to manila was fun. sana sa susunod, lahat ng mga cuz makasama na. will post pictures pag sinipag na ako....kasama pa namin si ate v at si veh!

What God Hath Promised

God hath not promised skies always blue,
Flowers-strewn pathways all our lives through;

God hath not promised sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.

But God hath promised strength for the day.

Rest for the labor, light for the way,
Grace for the trials, help from above,

Unfailing sympathy
Undying love...

i heard this poem at church last sunday and i just want to share it with you--yes you!

first day of the month

when i woke up this morning first thing i thought of was not the usual "office na naman" but "BER na!" how time flies...Christmas is so near!!!!

went to bulacan last sat to attend Dra.Lara's party and it was nice to be with cousins again...didn't take pictures because i was tamad.

our home sweet house is under "construction", meaning ang gulo-gulo and the things in my mom's room and the tv room are all in our bedroom kaya para ako natutulog sa bodega! hehehhee....

my mom told me of a bad news last saturday, manang melo again had a stroke. it was so sad hearing this because i was really praying that she gets well soon and i knew that somehow she was recovering really well from her first stroke. with this news, my mom sent borgy to bacolod to visit his mom. she has been in the icu since saturday and i just pray for God's will. i know that God will not allow anything to happen that it is not in accordance with his plan--pls continue to pray for her and for the rest of the family. i miss manang melo badly and im really looking forward to visiting her on october.

with the midterms finished, im really happy with the midterm grades i got. im starting to enjoy nursing school and have been learning a lot of new things lately. im just tamad because im back to reading and reviewing. i really hope i get to finish nursing school--LONDON here i come!! hehehe...wishful thinking!

i had LASIK in january 2002 and was happy when my vision was back to 20/20...but i guess good things never last kasi may grade na ulit eyes ko. doctor told me that sometimes the eye grade do come back and then stabilizes at a certain grade and sometimes they would just have to do the operation again. she asked me if i wanted a repeat of the operation, my reply---not now. maybe in a year or two if the grade worsens but im not ready and im not willing to undergo LASIK again. wawa naman ang eyes ko!

i have exams tom so i got to stop blabbing and get back to reading....

Funny!Funny!Funny!

sent by a friend--enjoy reading.

Para sa nagbabalak mag resign.....
Think about it...
ng kalabaw sa carpet. this was a technique taught
to me In selling to get a massive and immediate
attention from the buyer.

Wala Lang

only in the philippines...

speaking of being a filipino, got a message from dixie on friendster that kevin is a finalist for the Brisbane Karaoke Idol! how i wish i'm in australia to cheer and of course vote for him...galing mo talaga bro! kaya pala di ka makapasa sa K the one million videoke challenge kasi pang Brisbane Karaoke Idol ka pala.

Kevin and wife dixie

i really hope he wins...he deserves it because he really is very talented. if you are reading this entry and you are in australia and would want to vote for kevin, message me for details on how you could help him win.

happy quezon city day!

today was a local holiday...pero di uso sa ibank and local holiday kaya naman open pa din kami to service the clients..syempre naman "we will be the epitome of service excellence in our chosen field, as we seize every challenge to make a difference for you." sa totoo lang--wala naman kami ginawa sa office...kalokohan ang pagpasok!

but since we didn't have school today too, i took advantage of the free time and played badminton with people from the ofc and clients. it was so fun--and it was a great break from all the studying...

i found the following at the grocery....

sunflower with strawberry filling

selecta chocopeanut and super chocolate

magnolia chocolait

it's so nice to see magnolia chocolait back in the stores....for chocnut lovers, choco peanut ice cream flavor is a must...i love sunflower strawberry...

Let's Celebrate!

i grew up with her...she was like a sister too...i saw how hard she has worked for anything she wanted...she has the determination i sometimes wish i had...i saw her happy and sad...i remember the time someone called her here in the house and said that he was a sikret ad-mi-rer (that is how it is to be pronounced, bisaya ata e)...it made me sad when she moved out of the house already...was uberly happy when she passed the nursing board exams with flying colors...she supported me with anything...she loves my family as if it was her own...and i love her family too...but im happy again with what she has recently achieved.

Today the results for the physician licensure came out and she made it! Congratulations ate issang for i know that you really, really deserve it. i know how hard you have worked for this and that this is what you have really wanted. so proud of you MA. LARISSA M. HALILI, M.D.

my trip to quiapo

i was planning to study....but i didn't. mama san, wanted to go to quaipo to buy amboy's costume for the linggo ng wika program in school--so to quiapo we went. it was my first time to go to quiapo. when i say go is to really go around. i usually passby quaipo if we have to go to the airport, pier, roxas blvd or intramuros. but today was my first time to walk on the underpass, to see the quiapo church and to go inside the tiangge areas. i had fun!!!

i bought a blouse for only 160.00 (ha! what a bargain, i just hope it wont shrink after it has been washed) and santol bacolod, 3 for 20.00...ang sarap!

im stressed...harassed....so i had a haircut! =) had fun at the salon with officemates. buti na lang my classes were at 7pm pa....

in one of our unit test in pharmacology, number 11 question was:

All of the following are not included in the nursing interventions of a client who undergone anesthesia

a. monitor the patient's post-op state of sensorium
b. monitor weight of the patient pre and post-op
c. check the client for skin rashes
d. observed the client for withdrawal syndrome.

our teacher forgot the word EXCEPT so she just told us while taking the exam "class, number 11 except ha!"

next meeting our teacher returned the test papers and when she gave the test paper of one of my classmates, she asked "why didn't you answer number 11 of test one?" classmate replied "ma'am sabi mo except!"

buti na lang di sya second courser.....

Thank God for weekends, when not only me but most of us (not all since others have to go to work on weekends) have the chance to rest, recharge the almost drained if not totally drained batteries of our body and to do the things you have wanted to do over the "crazy week" but couldn't since 24 hours a day seem to be so short.

Work is fine...bosses in the office have talked me into extending what was suppose to be a 6 months training to an additional 3 months. I hated the idea since i know i am not a "service " person but a "sales" person, but since an office mate is to give birth anytime i have no choice but to say yes. So i am still doing the service work until the office mate goes back to work from the maternity leave.

I never thought nursing school would be this busy and demanding. So many things to memorize and remember--and to think im only in my first semester. I have been actually thinking if this is really what i want--if im really cut for the nursing profession....

Tita Tess

she was confined and was in the icu for the past 2 days...she has been sick for a long time...and this morning, at 5am she has joined her Creator.

i cried when i read the text message -- i have been telling friends how much i miss having grandparents and with her physically leaving us, i lost a lola again. i will miss her terribly! i will miss her jokes, her laughter, her beautiful singing voice, i will miss her playing the organ, i will miss her cooking--i will just miss her.

it is time for you to rest and be reunited with your Creator and tio celo. when you finally see him tell him i miss him too. and when you bump into nanay, tatay, wowo and wawa could you hug them for me?

thank you tita tess (i call her that even if she is my lola) for you have given me wonderful memories. i know that you are now at a much better place. we will always remember you though. reunions and family gathering will never be the same without you.

no goodbyes....i will see you again.

i miss blogging....

work and school is taking up sooo much of my time. i miss the malls, i miss going to the movies, i miss watching primetime tv, i miss going to mama san's hse after dinner, i miss going out after work and i miss all the other things i do after work. i have only been going to school for more than a week but it feels like ive been in nursing school for a year already. and since i was a super late enrollee, i have a lot of catching up to do. i have a paper to finish(and i thought sa grad school lang ang term paper), report to prepare for and take home quiz to answer. but so far im having fun...that i must admit.

it was mommy's birthday yesterday and we had a small party..it was a great break from all the things i have been doing....i love videoke! hahaha...sayang walang RH!

it's E's birthday tomorrow and ang bad ko kasi i haven't bought him a gift yet. hmmm....i really can't think of a gift to buy.

hmmm...i want a magic mic!!!

ENGLISH SPEAKING

kaninang umaga.....

amboy: tita mace, may kakalase ako english speaking
me: kinakausap mo ba
amboy: opo! sabi ko ko po "do you have friends"
me: ano naman sagot nya
amboy: sabi po nya "i don't"
me: anong sinagot mo
amboy: "you liar!"
me: ngek! wag mo sya sasagutin ng ganun.
amboy: pero tita mace, tingin ko marunong naman sya magsalita ng tagalog e. kasi pag mabigat na english na sinasabi ko "huh" na ang sinasagot nya.

hmm...now i wonder kung ano ang mabibigat na english amboy is talking about.

HERSHEYS KISSES

last thursday, i asked messenger in the office if he could buy me hersheys kisses sa unimart or sa starmart sa may greenhills. of course he said yes, and i gave him 200 pesos. told him to buy me a pack that would cost around 130-160. and i told him also that i wanted the kisses to be plain milk chocolate lang. i don't want the one with almonds or yung mga cookies and cream. i wasn't sure if he understood what i wanted or if he knew what i was talking about pero i had no choice kasi i really really wanted to eat chocolates. when he got back he told me walang kisses but he bought me GOYA SILVER CUPS,milk chocolate din daw. hmm...i had no choice but since i have been craving for chocolates, i ate the goya chocolates na lang imagining na hersheys kisses yun.

yesterday, manang the other messenger in the office asked me if i wanted anything from mercury since my office mate had utos. i asked her then to buy me hersheys kisses. this time since i learned my lesson from what happened with the other messenger, i wrote it in a piece of paper and then just told her to ask or show the paper sa tindera. i gave her 200 again. when she got back she went straight sa pantry. i told my office mate na mukhang successful si manang bec usually if she's not able to buy the things we ask her, she goes straight to us and tell us na walang nabili. so this time i was super hopeful that she was able to buy my kisses....i was so excited to eat kisses with coke light. finally, manang went out of the pantry with a small plastic on hand. i was all smiles--and when she finally got to my table "ma'am walang kisses, pero (hmm...pero pa lang kinakabahan na ako!) i bought you this...." hulaan nyo na lang will blog tom on what she bought me -- JOKE! muntik na ako antakihin sa puso...parang gusto ko mahulog sa chair ko...parang gusto ko umpog ulo ko sa pader....she too like the other messenger bought me GOYA SILVER CUPS!!! milk chocolate din naman daw kasi yun. i was thinking kung kambal ba sila or ako ba ang may kasalanan. ako nga ba...

TODAH RABAH!

Happy father's day to all!! (late na greetings ko!)

as we celebrated father's day, i too had the chance to remember tatay, wowo and of course my dad.

i have very few memories of tatay because i was only 4 or 5 when he died. i know from stories that he was not only a good father but a very good grandfather. i have this picture which shows me in my imleda papin mode (ha! ako lang nakakaintindi nyan!) and in the picture was tatay, clapping his hands and was smiling obviously in amusement (ok, that's a bit exaggerated). i miss him and i wish had the chance to grow up with him.

wowo was the groovy lolo...he was always on levis maong jeans, he was very dedicated to his work, for him golf was not a mere sport but it was something he loves, a very good grandfather, a great family man and what i remember the most about him was his love for wawa. it was like that of ronald reagan for nancy -- even more. i miss summer vacations in victorias with him and wawa...i always cherish the times he would come to manila for work or vacation..i miss bringing his milk to his room when he had to stay with us...i miss him and wawa...

my dad is the best. i rememeber when more than a year ago, i wrote a TV show to give my dad a surprise party for his birthday. if not for my mom, overnight stardom na (she is not used to tv exposure)! i know parties or material gifts would never be enough to show my love and gratitude to him for everything that he has done for me. i miss him always since he is far and would always look forward to seeing him and spending time with him when he is on vacation.

todah rabah to my 3 dads and to my uncles. i could never give back what you have given me...thank you for the unconditional love, the care and for just letting me feel how great it is to have a father.

A RAINY WEEKEND

after more than a week of planning, i was finally able to see this movie. i went to watch with amboy and bheng--yes amboy went to watch the movie with us. even if he really wanted to watch shrek2 or harry potter, sorry na lang sya bec kami ni bheng ang nasunod. kawawang bata!

it wasn't the typical filipino movie but it was a typical korean telenovela with one of the lead stars dying. as always, aga was hanSAM in the movie. kristine was very pretty esp without make-up. im just not sure if pandesal with catsup dipped in orange juice really tastes good. i would not even dare try.

after watching sports unlimited...im super excited to go to dumaguete and siquijor---date natin yan sassa ha!!!!

SHUT UP NOTE

He got a shut up note which says "shut up, you're wasting taxpayers' money." I really think he deserves it...nothing was wrong with the note sent. I really think that senate and congress should now start counting the votes--the longer it takes the more chances to cheat. The woman who sent the note, she sould not be cited for contempt. We have freedom of speech in this country as far as i remember.

Got a text message from tems at 10:35 am this morning asking if i wanted to know who won AI---OF COURSE! this AI fanatic wanted to know. To my disappointment, fantasia won. The new AMERICAN IDOL---move over peewee. Posted by Hello

after more than a year of being together....is it finally time to say goodbye?

im not talking about my lovelife here--im talking about my phone. i wasn't able to bring my phone to work this morning, sabi nga ni mommy sobrang makakalimutin ko daw. when i came home from work, my phone was not working anymore. asked the maids if nahulog ang phone ko, di naman daw. i was really asar. could you imagine life without a phone? so what i did was to go to the mall and have my phone checked. i first went to semicon, and the guy told me that i would have to leave my phone for 3 days and to just call or come back to know what went wrong. initial charge would be Php550. o gaz! 550 and that was just for the checking. too expensive, so i then went to nokia. they will charge me 500 and the phone would be ready tomorrow. but if they have to change a part that would of course be charged to me. i decided then not to leave my phone and just have it checked with brightpoint, who happens to be our client so i might be able to get a discount. the girl at nokia told me that i will lose everythin stored on my phone and memory card--i will lose one year of memories (the photos) and most importantly, the phone numbers stored.

i remember making an entry a few days ago that i was thinking of trading my phone to an ericsson unit...and i remember telling mica and tita grace last saturday na kahit na ilang beses na nahulog phone ko, never pa sya nasira. wha!!!!!

buti na lang edsel lent me his extra phone, atleast i still get to text and call. maybe this is God's way of telling me to get a new phone....maybe....maybe...and maybe not.

***********

if you happen to get a chance to eat at KFC....eat the chuckie meal and give me na lang the powerpuff doll. i have the blossom doll already but i want the bubbles and buttercup dolls too.

***********

pashy called me tonight to tell me na may adidas sale sa office nya tom. it was suppose to be an employees sale only but they are allowing non-employees to shop tomorrow. wha!!!! im sad because my phone is not working and because i can't go to the sale because i have work. i hope and pray that he gets to buy me shoes and jacket and bag and shirt and slippers....

our very own American Midol Posted by Hello

May 20, 2004

the past days has been ok and not ok. my mood is so much like the weather we have here in manila the past few days. the sun is out and all of a sudden it starts raining. one minute i have a smile on my face and the next i feel so sad.

im just glad that bheng is still here in manila. it has been fun spending time together. it's sad because we are missing sassa and mimi. i still can remember the "gimmicks" the four of us had in the past. how we called bheng's house as beer house and at the strike of 12 midnight (since i still had school then or had to go the office the next day) we would all sing closing time. im excited that mimi might come home next year. i hope she does....

been watching AI on abc5 the past three days--it's sad to know that jasmine has been voted out this morning (evening sa states). i hope dianna wins. i hate fantasia--she sounds like matutina to me.

it's friday again tomorrow (TGIF!). i haven't thought of anything to do over the weekend yet...but i sure want to watch shrek 2.

hmmm....what do i wear to work tomorrow????

May 15, 2004

I LOVE YOU SABADO....

i went to greenhills this morning to help borgy buy stuff he needs for school...all i did was help because mommy gave him money for shopping (how i wish i was a student na lang!). after buying the stuff he needs, we went to where they sell cellphones. i almost traded my phone to a Z200. i super like it because of the color and i was thinking that i dont neeed a phone with a camera anymore because i have a digital camera already. i just didn't trade it because i was so used to a nokia phone and thought that i might have a hard time using an ericsson unit.

today, was also parlor day....kainis to be a girl kasi dami gastos!!!!

was looking forward to doing other things today but to my disappointment after going to the parlor, i was stuck at home.

happy weekend to all!!

May 10, 2004

i love the new look of blogger....just wanted to say that.

for the first time, it took us an hour before we were able to cast our votes. it used to take us less than 20 minutes but i was surprised this morning that the line was long and that the polling area was jampacked. i don't know if it was because a lot of people really went out to vote or it was because the teachers were disorganized.

saw a lot of people i knew this morning. our principal in high school, some of the sisters i used to see, and people in the neighborhood whom used to be snobs but since they were campaigning for somebody they seemed to be friendly today....oh well, that's life.

it felt good to be going inside my old school again--it brought back a lot of memories. hay, im getting old na!

POLITICAL ADS, VOTING, MOTHER'S DAY CELEBRATION AND STAR CITY

campaign period is officially over...no more political ads will be shown on TV (horay!). Just seeing this "infomercials" kuno by candidates makes me think of how much money they put into campaign. and in return how much money they should corrupt in order to fund campaign 3 years from now and of course to get back whatever money they have spent for this year's election.

But do this ads or infomercial really help a voter get to know a candidate? do we vote for them bec of what the ad tells us or we vote for them bec we like the jingle (like that of pia cayetano, mar roxas and enrile), on how they did the infomercial or even because we are a fan of the celebrity endorsing the candidate? I hate that of osmena the most...why do we have to thank him that we have cellphones? di naman sya ang bumili ng cell ko =P isa pa, whatever bills/laws senators make we shouldn't be thankful for because they are paid (with the taxes that we pay) to make laws. TRABAHO nila yun!

----------------------

so how am i voting this year....i believe this is the first time i am voting intelligently. in the past (i have voted for a total of 4 times already including barangay election since i turned 18), i voted on who was "sikat"--except for ERAP. as i go to the voting precinct later, i am guided by the following criteria: 1. character of candidate; 2. competence; and 3. consistency of candidate. And before writing on that ballot sheet, i vow to pray first and ask for guidance from God.

----------------------

celebrated mother's day this year with dinner at little asia (yummy food) and dessert at go nuts donuts (you go nuts over the donuts). it was a fun time with relatives again as usual. im really proud to be part of a close knit family. i guess i'm not just proud but happy....how do we celebrate father's day?? =)

---------------------

it's been years since i last went to star city, since enchanted kingdom opened i haven't gone to any other theme park. so when i heard that they have airconditioned the place, i have always looked forward to the day i go to the star city. NOT ANYMORE!!!! i went there saturday night with edsel since we were trying to kill time since i wanted to go to dangwa to buy flowers for the mommies. with no other place to go, and since we were in the area we decide to go and see for ourselves the new star city. at first it was cool--bec the place is cold and may mga tiangge. when i saw the rides i thought, kaya ko ito--chicken! hindi pala. i didn't get scared of the loop of the zyklon loop or the drop in their version of log jam, natakot ako kasi parang ikamamatay ko ang pagsakay bec i just didn't feel safe. feeling ko mahuhulog ako sa seat ko. i just didn't feel safe. moral of the story--never go back to STAR CITY!
ILAW NG TAHANAN

To my mom....
My tita's....
To my mommy cousins....
To my mommy friends....
To all the mothers....

Happy Mother's Day
I'm up and blogging!

it took time for me to find a new template....fix it...make adjustments....and now viola! my blab has a new home =)

i was so tamad to blog the past few days...how i wish i have internet access in the office so i could blog the very minute bloggable things happen to me.

i can't believe it's friday already tomorrow and that in 2 days it's may already. before we know it summer is over (thank God because the heat is killing me!) and we need to bring out our rain gears again and prepare ourselves for the rain and the floods! hmmm.....but before i get to wear my adidas jackets again i have to decide first on who to vote in the coming elections.

until now im still undecided on who to vote for even for the local positions. every time someone asks me of who i will be voting for president i would usually reply that i will be voting for eddie gil---but of course i was just joking! early this year i was dead set on voting for gloria, because i was thinking that i had no other choice. but lately im having second thoughts already and i am thinking of voting for eddie villanueva instead. i really don't know. what i don't like about gloria is mike arroyo. i believe that she is smart, at times she knows what she is doing and she is qualified. but like marcos who was married to imelda, she too is married (and separated??!?!?!) to mike arroyo who is not at all helping her but is instead ruining her. i like eddie villanueva bec he too seems to know what he is talking about (based on the interviews he had). but still im not that confident he could run a country such as the Philippines. Imagine the Philippines with FPJ as president, Noli as vice. jinggoy, bong, boots, bong coo, eddie ilarde, pia pilapil, jaworski, and lito lapid as senators. ARGHHHH.......i have to come up with my list na!!!!!

if by chance you are home saturday or still at home by 7:45 pm, watch my MY BIG FAT OBNOXIOUS FIANCE' at studio 23. it's not just funny but hilarious! one of the best reality tv shows ever---uhhmmmm.....next to amazing race and survivors (HA!).

Oprah at studio 23 last night was Oprah and FRIENDS! One of the best oprah shows I have ever watched…..

basta't driver sweet lover--iboto talong para sa konseho!

i can't believe he is actually into public service. ka-inuman ko lang yan eh! but when i saw him yesterday he wasn't "melong" anymore--MEL na talaga! come to think of it, he was an SK chairman years ago so he has experience and the heart to serve the people (naks! bayaran mo ako!!!!).

i know that we won't/can't make fun of him anymore. i miss the "sabado nights".......sigh........

Long Weekend

happy...im feeling so happy...why? three days of vacation that is why!

we initially wanted to go out of town and enjoy the looonnnggg weekend. unfortunately, the whole philippines was thinking of doing the same thing. so we (and the the rest of the tuano cousins) will just have to enjoy and make do with the swimming pool at mica's condo.

edsel's sick--wawa naman! i haven't talked to him yet. but i hope he gets better soon...di na ako so happy kasi sick sya...

went to pier 12 this afternoon with mommy to pick up cristy (finally the she is back after 21 days of vacation)--i was shocked! north harbor was so dirty--kung kolehiyala ang nag punta dun, ganito magiging reaction nya "so yucky! it's so kadiri naman here!" hehehe......

Happy Birthday pashy!!!

blog...blabb....blag!

i was thinking of blogging and blabbing and then--BLAG! araguy.....

it wasn't katangahan--i was just not careful. i didn't know that the floor was slippery. i just wanted to get screw driver, but i wasn't able to get it anymore. what i got was a bruise in the arm and a bukel in the head. not bukol because that would make tricycle--tricykol and popsicle--popsikol ( bisaya man gid ko!)

manang melo, WKL and noypi

mom left for bacolod saturday early morning--first flight to attend borgy's graduation and to visit. before dad, left he was asking me if i wanted to go so he could buy me ticket too. i said i didn't but now i wish i did. it's not that there was nothing to do here at home but after i called victorias and mom made me talk to manang melo ( i did the talking because all she can say is BA BA BA) now i wish i came to visit her too. to whoever is reading this blog entry, please include her in your prayers.

i didn't go out saturday which was quite unusual. since mom is on "vacation" and the maid is on "vacation" too, i decided to just stay home and do my mom's bilin.

and then i watched wish ko lang(WKL). i really enjoy watching it because it always makes me feel good and it reminds me of the many blessings i get. yesterday was mang jimmy's turn of the limelight. he is so called the "taong alimango" bec of how is hands and feet are....they are like those of a crab. they believed that he was like that because of the alimango his mom loves to eat while pregnant with him. but what struck me was that he was not the only one like that in the family. 2 of his sisters and a number of his pamangkins were like that too. when WKL sent him to the doctors, they said that it was a single gene abnormality. but inspite of his physical abnormality, he still sees to it that he works for a living. horray!!! atleast he works and he is not just on the streets of metro manila begging for money. he walks without slippers or shoes, he bikes around and sells ice candy (yummy!!) and does frames for pictures. hats off to him!

and since i was glued on TV, i was able to see the mtv and hear the song of bamboo (former lead vocalist of rivermaya). the song si sooo true and like the title "NOYPI" it is truly PINOY! to all those filipino's abroad who says they would never go back and live here in the philippines again because of our living conditions here--HA! that's not true!!! there would be no place like home! what i liked best from the song is this line:

Tingnan mo iyong palad
Kalyado mong kamay sa hirap ng buhay
Ang dami mong problema, nakuha mo pang ngumiti
Noypi ka nga, astig

PINOY, MABUHAY KA! but i don't mind going to other countries for vacations(hehehehe....)

Mar 25, 2004

i love lucy and henry and ula.....

watched 50 First Dates last sunday with edsel and it was totally funny and a really nice movie....must see!!!!

im still sick...i hope to feel better over the weekend...i hate being sick.

mom leaves on saturday to attend borgy's graduation in bacolod. she will be back on monday. hmmm...san kaya pwede makikain? with cristy on a 2 week vacation, i would have nothing to eat!

i want to go on vacatioooonnnnn!!!!!!!!!

Mar 20, 2004

i hate it when im not 100% ok...i woke up this morning and my tonsil's hurt really bad. i knew a flu is coming bec i was not feeling ok last night--i didn't even finish my drink!

went to the office this morning, for over tawad but i was totally useless bec i feel feverish. i came in at 10am (suppose to be 8:30) and then at 3pm i was like "aren't we going home yet" nyikes! nakakahiya!

today is not a happy day--i know i should always think of everyday as a happy day but today is simply not. there are things that you want to have happened but it didn't. you get sad and disappointed but in the end there is nothing really you could do but accept things as they happen and pray that it doesn't happen again. i guess it will always be ok to feel bad beacause we are only human--and it is ok to cry.

CRY--believe it or not, i was watching wish ko lang and i cried! hehehhee...i guess it's the hormones but i was just really touched with the featured story of a family who lives in the pier. Imagine that they have to pay 20 pesos each just to use the bathroom. how lucky are we that could live at the comforts of our home. use the bathroom without paying a single centavo, sleep in our beds, eat at a dining table with decent food. The family came from the province (cant remember where) and went here to manila "para makipagsapalaran". argh! i hate that line....people in the provinces think of manila as the land of milk and honey, which is totally not true. in the provinces you could just plant at the backyard and viola! you have food to eat. here in manila, lahat may presyo. going back to the story. the show sent the family back to the province (salamat!) and gave them a sari-sari store for livelihood. the other story was about an unano who was a good student. he worked hard, had very good grades, persevered and has determination to finish school despite of being unano. his mom died recently and before that their house got burned. they gave him a computer, a fishball cart and a college scholarship. hehehe--in short i cried twice! buti na lang nakatulog na ako! i wrote wish ko lang last year and they did call me and wanted to do my story but my mom backed out. sayang overnight stardom sana!

Busy as a bee....

had a busy but fun weekend....went to nueva ecija over the weekend to attend erin's wedding.

it was fun, not only the wedding but the chance to be with relavtives. after the reception we had time to just sit around, drink, and share stories. it was fun...being with uncles, aunt's and cousins.

at about one in the morning, we all decided it was time to sleep and we went to acropolis water camp--never thought such a nice place existed in cabanatuan....the hotel was beautiful!

i woke up at around 9am sunday and had time only for a bath, breakfast and watch tv for a few minutes then it was time again to leave for lunch at tita tess's house. it always excites me to eat at there house...lunch was sumptuous!

before i forget....

the other day, a client was depositing a check for his account. after i have posted the deposit ( yup, im doing tellering job for 6 months...i have no choice!):

me: (abot deposit slip) thank you sir (me smiles)
client: Mag wiwidraw pa sana ako sa account ni misis, di naman nya pinirmahan withdrawal slip
me: naku sir, i would need her signature on the withdrawal slip
client: gaga talaga....ay! asawa ko pala yun!
me: ikaw sir ha!

is eddie gil worthy of my vote?

From BIO DATA by VICKY MORALES

VICKY MORALES: What is your stand on APEC?
EDDIE GIL Diba sa langis iyon?

VICKY MORALES: What is your net worth?
EDDIE GIL Ano yun?

EDDIE: Siyempre.

(After a tour of his property)
VICKY: Magkano bili niyo po dito?
EDDIE: 20 million pesos
VICKY: Ano po pinambili niyo?
EDDIE: Pera ko , siyempre.

Vicky: anong posisyon niyo sa GATT?
Gil: ano yung GATT?!

On the ECONOMY:
I will change the Philippine currency to the 'dollar' so that we will be more competitive in the global arena. Countries like Korea and China are now using the dollar and we must follow suit. When we do this, one Philippine Dollar will be equivalent to one US Dollar.

Vicky Morales : Ano po ang isang normal na araw sa inyo?
Eddie Gil (EG): Sabado.

VICKY MORALES: Ano'ng pangalan ng tatay niyo?
EDDIE GIL Ay, nde ko pedeng sabihin.
VICKY MORALES: Bakit naman?
EDDIE GIL Masyadong sentimental.
VICKY MORALES: Ha, paano? Sa panaginip?
EDDIE GIL Oo, sa panaginip. Minsan, isinusulat din niya sa blackboard.

hhmmm....teka! baka naman the time of interview with vicky morales e puyat si eddie gil.

From:PROBE by Che Che Lazaro

EDDIE GIL Ang posisyon ko dyan eh buy your own. Wala dapat foreign goods.

CHECHE LAZARO Eh sa open skies policy ho?
EDDIE GIL Anong open skies?
CHECHE LAZARO (explains)
EDDIE GIL Ah e di ok lang sila, payag ako sa foreign airlines.
CHECHE LAZARO Akala ko ho ba wala dapat foreign goods? Ang airlines, parang goods din ho yun, di ba?
EDDIE GIL Ah, iba yun, airlines yun.

CHECHE LAZARO Magiging sino ho ang asawa ninyo pag naging presidente kayo?
EDDIE GIL Aba, e di asawa ko!

CHECHE LAZARO: Sino ho si Eddie Gil?
EDDIE GIL: Eh di ako!
CHECHE LAZARO: Sino ho kayo?
EDDIE GIL: Eh di si Eddie Gil

PROBE: Mrs. Gil do you support your Husband?

MRS. GIL: Why Of course! He does the household chores and sometimes is the one who goes to the market, I have nothing else to do that's why I support him.

ELIZABETH: We have many companies all over the philippines and all over the world if I tell u it will take 24 hours..

[SHOCKS ISA PA ETO]

PROBE: What is the business of eddie gil?
ELIZABETH: Nagpapautang sya sa mga countries na may kailangan. For example Korea, nung kelangan nila ng funding nagpautang kame sa kanila.....

tuesdays....i always meet up with a tuesday group composed of oldies and young ones, this only proves that two generations could actually have fun and enjoy each other's company.

we used to call it sta catalina household of faith...now they call it the tuesday group, nonetheless i still look forward to meeting with them.

it's nice to meet with people who accept you for who you are and for what you are. people whom you could laugh and cry with. being with people who you know are happy with all your success and will be there for you to help you stand up when you fall. people who sincerely pray for you and remember you in prayer even if it is not a tuesday.

hmm....we love to eat too...on top of the list---PANSIT!

Feb 29, 2004

today is a start of a new month. february has been a good month. a lot of things happened to me and the family, but we all survived it...with the help of GOD.

i want to share this with everybody.....

With God, nothing is impossible--absolutely nothing. He holds all our lives in His hands and not a thing will happen to one of God's children unless it is part of His plan and will for our lives

God Bless us all!!!

Friday's top five

1. What's the most daring thing you've ever done?
daring....nyikes! I guess I'm just not the adventurous type. I guess when I was in bohol and I had to cross a hanging bridge na sira-sira na na super taas--is that daring enough? nah! But I would like to try and win the 50K in fear factor!
2. What one thing would you like to try that your mother/friend/significant other would never approve of?
jump off a plane ;)

3. On a scale of 1-10, what's your risk factor? (1=never take risks, 10=it's a lifestyle)
5

4. What's the best thing that's ever happened to you as a result of being bold/risky?
wala....I haven't risked anything yet...I have to do something about this!

5. ... and what's the worst?
yahoo! wala din....this week's top five is boring! ;)

nuninuninu......

nyikes! i wasn't able to blog for 3 days--busy? nah! tamad? hehehhehe......

i forgot..i haven't been bloging because i have been reading =)

i bought the book before Christmas but i haven't had the time to read it. I started sunday, and it is a must read for all!
Read it and it will touch you and change your life.....
